so silently breathed into these words a whisper to the seeds

guess I shall just post my little endeavor as inspired by by favorite ET... :rose:

so silently breathed into these words
a whisper to the seeds of sprouting threads...

Like roots reaching deeper with every day
the longing for your touch seems so far away....

show the flower,
after the rain.
slow dew drops,
glistening down.

roots holding tight,
to soft succulent
mealy ground.
leaves perky,
seeking warmth.

such beauty
to behold.
transforms,
inspires the soul ...

The Poet
By Art Campbell

Sandy recieves a poem from a secret admirer. Every one on her floor of this sky scraper is a suspect including, not excluding, women. She finds the envelope with lightly printed hearts and an impressive calligraphy. She slowly opened the envelope marked,

To: That which grips my souls,
Sandy Lilley

I admire you from so very far

Like that of a distant star
Or the light you see in the night sky
Very well may be a star that has already died
Enriched by this day of lovers I write.

Your the one who moves me deeply inside
Obviously a poets pen by candle light
Ushers scribbles to you in the sunshine.

......be my valentine.........

A Secret Admirer

perhaps the next poem will be Du's then
Ryhme
then Rain and me's

I will need more <grin>

I think I understand. Good concept.
Is that an invitation, or a statement?
Just clarify a lil more so I know what you need.
Unless you ... are the writer.

Thank You for the kind complement.
I am learning ... thats all I can promise. :D
Love this world of words, and friends~ :cathappy:

serendipity smiles as a look from you lingers
my sweet Sandy fair

I long to approach you and yet
I mustn’t dare

for you are as dainty as a heavenly sigh
and I am just a shy kind of guy

who hides behind this poetic little note
holding on to this tiny ray of hope

that someday you’ll wear my
ring on your finger...till then
serendipity lingers...

A Pecos Rose: The Gamblers bet

The Gambler held a row of Aces
looking across the table at frill and laces
Lady Lilley held a full house
but that changed when she touched her blouse.

Each player glancing with glancing eyes
cards discarded then another to rise
Lady Lilley placed her bet then posed
grining with wickedness, a pecos rose.

"What may I gamble to continue our game?"
The Gambler said casual, his pockets drained
"Your suit looks nice and they I will wager,"
Lady Lilley said looking at the stranger.

The Gambler tilted back his hat
looked across from where he sat.
"Just my suit or all my clothes?"
"All," said smiling was A Pecos Rose.

The Gambler looked back at his cards
looked at Lady Lilley long and hard
"Okay," he said as he layed them down
so did Lilley and they all gathered around.

Lady Lilley had a Royal Flush
the Gambler didn't say to much
"Where do you want my clothes?"
The Gambler asked as his redness showed.

"Upstairs," was all she said
The Gamblers face was fully red
He got up and started to go
following was A Pecos Rose.

A Pecos Rose: The Lady's Bed

Lady Lilley closed and locked her door
sensually walked across the floor
removed the Gamblers rim felt hat
spun before a chair, there she sat.

"Kindly remove my winnings please,"
Lady Lilley said with a slight tease.
The Gambler began to remove his clothes
with a smile watched, A Pecos Rose.

When his pants fell to the floor
he looked at her and said, "there's no more."
She smiled and pointed to his long johns square.
The Gambler gasped, "You wouldn't dare?"

"I dare, dear man, I'm a gambler I am,"
Lady Lilley exclaimed like a proud Madam.
The Gambler slowly lowered whats left
Lady Lilley smiled at her well endowed gift.

Her eyes got wide at what her finger's touched
grasping his man hood then a feathers brush
"Madam that will cost for you to play,"
Lady Lilley laughed and turned her head his way.

"You want to bet," she said with a smile.
"What is the wager," He asked with style.
"When I am done devouring you,
you won't think a cost is due."

Lady Lilley said with a wicked grin.
"What do I have to lose but get stiff and?"
Her pulling fingers wetly mingled
stroking the peacocks dripping dingle.

"In fact I believe that you owe me,"
Lady Lilley said, opening her legs, slowly.
The Gambler fell to his knees on lust's glow,
between the garden rows, of A Pecos Rose

A Pecos Rose: The Thorns Whip

Hearts over diamonds at a comforters tapper
the Gambler was tasting the Rose's flavor.
High heels that pointed towards the air
while grasping a hand full of passions flare.

When their lips met they melted together
touching each other as light as a feather.
Lady Lilley unclothed and fully exposed,
trailing the long stem was A Pecos Rose.

The Pair was like a wild card joker
Lady Lilley had the Gamblers Poker.
The Gambler held a ten in his hands
Ace in the hole when the after glow began.

A loud knock came knocking at the door
"We need your 'Whip' by the stage floor!"
Lady Lilley grabbed a wrap and out she whipped
down the stairs she flew, hurried and swift.

There by the stage stood the big burley man
holding his anger tightly to a Little Woman.
"Remember me," the big man barked his sleeze
Lady Lilley cocked her hips then her whip tease.

"Those are mi amigos," The Big Man said laughing
three men with pistols drawn, were aimed and standing.
"I am taking this lil lady and teach her a lesson!"
The big burley man said as he was slowly moving.

A gun shot rang out and then another,
the 'snap' of the whip cracked teathered leather.
Another whip snapped at the big burley man
who let go of his hold on the lil woman.

The Gambler holstered his gun from above
smiling down at Lady Lilley his new Love.
The Sheriff came in and arrested the men.
The saloon was back to singing and gambling.

The Big Man learned how rose's thorn can be
the Gambler on the stairs kissed his Lady.
The Western Palace was ready for a prose
from the lovely Lady Lilley, A Pecos Rose.

The Gulls 'bob' for A-suprise
over the water
is their reflective glide

taking advantage
of sight from the sky
swooping into a high dive

splashing the water
when they crash
Gull's fishing skills matched

why do we reach beyond our arms length
based on only our thoughts strength?

Cosmedic dream spun into a reality
by creating the drive only you can see.

Busy with those that throw anchors your way
determined to sail your dream to its day.

Even the wind becomes calm now and then
only to muster up the creative storm with-in.

Then one day fate docks your dream's boat,
when they say they'll publish your literary work.
