I'm so sorry to hear this. I heard similar things from my ex a few years ago. :rose:

Why? Because he had been cheating on me online. He never "met" anyone so he doesn't consider it cheating. However, he exchanged intimate emails. He planned on getting together with her eventually.
Before he moved out, the only thing that my ex did with the woman that he met was kiss her. He thinks that because he waited until he'd moved out to fuck her, that it wasn't cheating.

Maybe. Maybe not. But it was still a betrayal, IMO. And when he told me, "I fucked her just to hurt you!" that made it hurt even worse.
