ICT that I tried to get a girl who was unhappy in a relationship to be with me instead a while back.
 
ICT I'm not quite sure how to interpret an anonymous comment about my story. Here's the comment: "slut who's husband hopefully discovers who she really is and kicks her to the curb!" That's it. That's the whole comment.

I have many questions. Is it directed at me, the author? Is it directed toward the main character, a fictionalized version of me? Is it a suggestion where the story could go? Why take the time to make such a comment? If the commentator doesn't like stories that involve a woman cheating ("cheating" is one of the story tags), why read it?

IACT sometimes I do not understand people... :rolleyes:
 
ICT I know that I'm still not ready for anything more than a flirty friendship but I still sometimes find myself wanting more

Yeah, people can be real assholes. Sometimes I think some folks aren’t happy unless they’re miserable, and they try to spread that misery.

ICT, while I don’t generally enjoy stories about cheating, yours was well plotted, well written, and quite arousing. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the kind words. I have trouble finishing things I'm writing, which are all based on my real experiences. Another author here suggested I write a short fantasy that I would never really act on. The idea was that I might be able to finish something to which I was not as emotionally attached as I am to my true-ish stories. And it worked!

ICT you are so right! Some people love being miserable and bringing others down too. Booo!

ICT I answered honestly yesterday morning when my husband asked me if I ever fantasize about being with other men.

IACT now I can't wait to see what might happen next! :giggle:
 
ICT we received a memo this morning to advise that teachers should not be using any personal phones, tablets, laptops, etc. during class time. That's going to cut seriously into my Lit time while at work...

IACT this may be for the best... 🙄

ICT I got a lot of Lego when I was a kid from an older male cousin. I loved it and would build all kinds of stuff, but my mom never bought me any because it was a "boy's toy". 🙁

IACT I've bought my four-year-old a lot of Duplo sets, and we play with it together all the time. I can't wait to get him some Lego sets when he's older. Of course, I'll have to help him build them. 😉😁♥️

IFCT my Hubby used to build models of cars and planes. He has some beautiful ones. I've been trying to convince him to take that up again now that his new job allows him to work fewer and more regular hours (almost no weekend work and rarely late evenings, except when preparing a case-- although, the cases are much less complex than what he used to do).
 
ICT Yesterday, I put on my big boy panties, and went out and did a lot of the shit that needed done.

IFCT I have created more work for myself. Which I still have very little desire to do, but will be glad to see the back of....:cautious:
