She knows she’s an alcoholic but refuses to get help. I try to approach it as the illness it is, but unable to cause a change in her getting help of any kind, hence the confession. She’s also an abusive drunk.
i am very sorry. Its a dreadful disease. it can crush your spirit. I hope for better things on your horizon...

Fair, the alcohol has the wife on a rage tonight. Thank you for asking. My best defense is to ignore her when she’s drunk, which is most nights. Said earlier today that she’s not going to drink tomorrow. We all know how that’s going to end.
