My wife is a very young 60. She has her right nipple pierced and has had it for close to 20 years. I originally pierced both nipples but the left one got angry after 6 months and she took it out. Age has nothing to do with it in my opinion. Find a reputable piercer and discuss your concerns and ask about placement. Maybe even a few references.

I agree...age has nothing to do with someone wanting a piercing. More than anything they are just something you do for yourself and the enjoyment of having them. To my mind that's ageless.

I've got my tongue pierced. My ears have been pierced a number of times but kept closing up. I gave up on those.
I have had my tongue done twice, technically, because it closed up on me, and I've had to force a metal post through it a number of times as well. The first time I got it done was when I was 16, I argued with my mom for months leading up to it. Using it sexually wasn't my goal then, I just thought it would be fun. I have a metal post, plastic top ball and a metal bottom ball in now.. but I used to chew on the plastic posts and actually went through one before because I was so pissed at whatever conversation I was involved in.
