This is amazing.just for shits and giggles, same image, another day. This process is hideously slow and annoying. The upside is that I go through reams of paper in errors and overpainting and blah that I can just kill here without wasting anything.
I paint animals still life and people sometimes.

Since the hives are in full bloom today, requiring me to spend the day on heavy "knock you on your ass" antihystomines, I'm looking up places to sell my stuff.
Any one have any tips or links out there to find local craft fairs? Right now I'm just doing the google search thing.
Have you tried contacting your local arts council? Usually a wealth of information to be had there.
Good luck!
Yup, they only provide information to members. So that got added to my list.
Etsy.com
WTF? You have to be a member?? I have never heard of such a thing. But, yes, make use of that valuable resource.
I thought it was weird too, but it might be because they do provide a lot of services. They help you get set up and provide info like how to claim sales tax and what not. They also have their own fairs which you get free admittion to if you are a member. Not sure if that is just to go to the fair or sell in it as they didn't really specify.
Well, it does sound like this warrants further investigation. If nothing else, tacking "Member of _______ Arts Council" onto your bio on your website or wherever, gives you an air of professionalism. I belong to a Provincial writer's organization for just that reason. They don't do all that much for me, but it's one more little bit of "credibility" when I send out my bio or CV.
Something to consider.

I'm an infrequent poster, but here's some of my stuff
These are some cufflinks made for my hubby's Security Forces buddies. The guys grabbed me some spent brass and I cleaned them up and put them into the cufflink blanks.
Made for a jewelry swap, this one I called Industrial Moondrop. It's made from an old LED light bulb that was in a pocket flashlight that no longer worked, some piece of hardware from Lowe's that I have no clue what its really used for but I liked the shape, and some reclaimed watch parts from some busted watches I picked up for nearly nothing at a flea market.
This one was made from an old domino and some wooden beads that I bought on a whim at a flea market for around 50 cents. I usually don't use wooden beads, but I loved the painted ones and am happy with how this came out.
Finally, the DaVinci Scrabble tile wire wrapped with brass wire. The picture is sealed under jeweler's grade resin and the tiles were from a game purchased at a local Faith Rescue thrift store.
I like recycling and/or upcycling stuff and scour the thrift stores for cool stuff to use.

They are gorgeous, Wenchie! I'm in awe of your precision bias edging.
Dude.I agree! Really beautiful work.
I'm a random hobbyist dabbling in a lot of things, but fiber and glass are my two main loves. Here are two toys I made for Master to wield. I start with 1.5" borosilicate glass rods and take it from there.
