I don’t have the same reaction to the word, but I can see why you might.Maybe it's just me, but someone being obsessed with me sounds creepy. Reminds me of Joe in that "You" show on Netflix. So, feeling weird about me feeling weird, I looked up the definition. I'll take smitten, loved, adored over obsessed.
And "here's my sore spot, please be gentle", and trusting the other one to be.
Just let it all go ... holding her close and letting her body take over.
this seems to me to be so very true
So sweetthis seems to me to be so true
Realities that we may rue
If we do not plan
As best we can,
Proudly swallowing all he'll imbue

Do what you can do to steal a little time. Even if it is just a simple car ride. This has been a challenge lately. My mind would let go of easier, but my nervous system is going on circles, powered by adrenalineEven when it let's go for a while, it doesn't last as long as normally.
And now we won't have time for that after tonight until New Year's Eve, though we'll spend plenty of time together (just very little of it will be private).
Any moment we can steal will be things like 5min in the guest room, sitting in his lap, and then the train rides on 26th which have no privacy, but at least I get him all to myself and might even nap leaning on him. But no moment for...treatment that would almost force me to relax.Do what you can do to steal a little time. Even if it is just a simple car ride.
Night!!!
Real communication takes time and effort. Likely a bit of empathy to a degree as well. It's setting aside personal pride, allowing for the possibility that you were wrong, approaching a situation open-minded and with full intent to find a workable solution even if it means hard work. It's being able to say, "I trust you with my heart and soul to present you with my honest feelings" and know that those words and emotions will be accepted, considered and respected.
If it's something you aren't used to, it can be very uncomfortable at first. I find that the more I trust, the more I can open up. Communication doesn't always come easily, and we may not always "do it right" but learning and trying and continuing are all good things.Real communication takes time and effort.
