It worked. You have to click the picture icon on the toolbar when typing a message.

It just showed up as a blank box for me..which is what my posts look like when I try to post a gif

Yeah, so you right click the actual gif itself. Go to "Copy Image Address." Then when replying to a thread, there's a toolbar with a picture of a mountain on it. Click that and paste that text in the small window that pops up.

Sometimes, it will fail but most of the time, you'll end up with....

The little box (...) shows up instead of the gif when it’s been encrypted for copyright. You can often find another version that isn’t encrypted. But it’s a pain in the ass.

I like little boxes though in other circumstances. Fun to open.
