I got to chat a little bit with E yesterday... it made me happy to know he's home and we can talk this weekend.

It doesn't do anything for my ear hurting. It's been hurting since the beginning of October, I've been on 2 courses of antibiotics and ear drops. I thought it was done earlier this week, but it's irritating me again. It's making me cranky...to the point where I wish my aunt were here blowing smoke in my ear. I know, old wives take, and I hate cigarette smoke...but it always worked years ago when she did it.

Have you tried the ear candles? The smoke draws out gunk

Are they "DIY"? I wouldn't trust anyone in my house to do it!

Definitely not diy, but they do work.

Warm some baby oil in a spoon (aka crackhead). Just warm not hot. Pour in ear and put in a cotton ball. I get ear infections constantly. It helps the pain and tenderness. Leave it in till it starts to hurt again and repeat. Works much faster then any prescribed crap for me.

Indeed THAT is quite the display case of chocolates.

Love love love truffles. There is a place in my town that makes divine truffles and I buy them as special gifts for my mom.

But TRUFFLES are not "candy" and the original question was candy - especially in the context of post halloween candy consumption and leftovers, and no kid is gonna get a truffle in their plastic pumpkin head.

But... since you are offered, Lost Yonder... I will take an amaretto truffle, grand marnier truffle and an irish cream truffle to start with.
