My peanut is on a parent visit so I started putting her nursery together and realize she has an obscene amount of bows...I may have an obsession with them

I was watching a video yesterday on how to make bows to attach to a ponytail elastic thingy.

Bows are good and pretty...can there ever be enough? What is this obsession you speak of? LOL

I used to wear bows/flowers in my hair in the 90's-early 2000's when it was sorta on trend in southern cali but I dont think I could get away with it now lol

My oldest was born in '88 and she wore big grosgrain hair bows, they were about three bucks at Walmart. When I started working at an elementary school last year I was surprised to see that many of the little girls were wearing big bows. I was like, didn't that go out twenty years ago?? But apparently there's some entertainer named Jojo something who's brought it back lol. Everything old is new again!

The rest of my girls wore satin ribbons that I bought off the spool at our local craft store. However, they typically ended up in their toy baskets, wrapped around Barbie's legs as gladiator sandals or who knows what. I love my kids' creativity and resourcefulness, but sometimes I wish they would just let a hair ribbon be a hair ribbon.

While I love it, in the era of constant zoom calls for work, you should be aware of how visible they are. Just a word to the wise.
