I'm really sorry to bail on you but RL has thrown me a few curveballs. I'm still in poor health, will need more time in hospital soon and my nanna passed yesterday. She's been end stage in a nursing home for years but I'll need to travel to her funeral soon.
Bottom line is that I just don't want to hold things up for you any more and I think you should re-cast my engineer role with someone who's more available to keep a group thread moving.
I'll be reading with interest though and I wish you all the best with it.

I am back finally. Sorry about the disappearing act. A thunderstorm killed our modem and the ISP finally sent us one today. Unfortunately it took this long to get the ISP to figure out we WERE in their system. *sigh* I hate them no end. The only good thing is their tech support was here in town.

I'm still here even though I've been quiet. I've just been very busy and I'll be soon, enlightening you all of the unfortunate/fortunate news soon. It'll probably be Thursday or Friday when I do.
I've just been focusing my creativity on this chapter I promised to give to a special friend before...and you'll find that out Thursday or Friday.

Okay, since this game has slowed down to hardly even a crawl, I feel that this is the best time to inform you all. I am leaving Tuesday to Army BCT. Monday, I'm going to be in a hotel. I promised a friend I'd send her Chapter 2 and 3 of my novel so I've been dedicating my creativity to that as well as spending the last few days with my family and friends.
I will return in late September, and I'll be back until November 5th. On Nov. 5th, I'll be shipping off again for a year.
If anyone would like to GM this game, let me know. Otherwise, if not, if you guys want to pause this to resume when I get back, we can do that also. Just let me know of your thoughts.

As far as the game goes, I don't think I could GM it myself but it someone wishes to take over, I am here and very interested in continuing! I'll also be able to wait and pick up again once HotCider is back if that's what we decide.

HotCider was doing a wonderful job, he clearly put a lot into his story and it was his story. I hope he can finish in the future.

This is my last day, and I just want to tell everyone thank you for enjoying this game. I enjoyed it as well. I will be trying to pick this up when I return from basic, so pretty much in two months. I'm gambling Late September but worst-case-scenario early October, but I'm sure it'll be the end of September when I return. I'll PM you guys to see if you're interested in resuming it, and those spots that are empty I'm sure I'll find people to fill them up. This game had a lot of people waiting to join once I paused it lol. So if they're still around later, then it shouldn't be a problem, but I enjoyed the characters so far. We'll resume it when I get back.
