You think your situation is the rule for black women?
I know it's the rule for qualified, hard-working, competent black women.
Ditto women of any color. Ditto any non-white person of any gender. Ditto any gay person of any color or gender. It is the law (except gay, but most corp policy includes them in protected class) and it is vigorously enforced, despite abuses by complaintents who are less qualified, lazy or incompetant. Often the mere threat of an EEOC filing will cause an employer to stay or reverse a decision.
There is only one class of citizen not on the above list. You ain't it, which is why you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.
Let me know if you know of any woman black or otherwise who fits that description who is in any way receiving less compensation for doing the same work as any male. I'm pretty sure I can get a finder's fee from a law firm for it.
