Embarras de Richesse

Calibeachgirl has a new series working, and it's an interesting flashback.

Redmonkeybutt has a new NH story "Dance in the Rain", with good local Texas colour, and a touch of humor before she gets to the good parts. San Antonio and environs is great story country.

Calibeachgirl has finished her Vamp series, and the series has met with approval from her many fans. A new series is in the works from this talented author, again with a California setting.

Jett73 tells what Susan did on her vacation in the Cote d'Ivoire in "Ebony in Ivory". Susan is taken aback.

Jett, any time.

AlessiaBrio has a new story, an anti-Valentine called "Two-thirds". Sad but true in too many cases, I think.

Cromagnonman has an old-time, hard-boiled, film noir detective story "A Message from Mr Smith and Mr Wess". Good plot.

Not a story, but a Lit perennial. Lovecraft68 has returned, and he and sr71plt are slugging it out like the Dewar's Scotch ad: "Some things never change".

Back to coming (pun intended) attractions. SilkStockingsLover has got her MILF-dominating character Bree eight miles high, and the action is fast and furious. Look for it to post, fans.

RedHairedandFriendly has her first L&T in six years in the works, "Words." It was a pleasure to copy-edit.

Actually we're not. When I'm actually slugging it out with someone, you'll definitely know it. I haven't gone beyond "occasionally amused comment" on Lovecraft's "just keeps on giving" meltdown and his "I came back because 'they' begged me to" Vaudeville act. There's a whole lot more I could be posting about that (and his syncophants--did the tutu fit, by the way?). :D

Just enjoying the show.

I have to agree with Pilot. "Slugging it out" is not what goes on here. Slugging it out is a street fight, something Pilot may have once seen on television. What goes on here is amusing babble.

And yes you'll know when Pilot is slugging it out, he uses the same old jokes he has forever, makes up words and runs crying to the mods.

And as for sycophants(notice no N there Mr. professional editor) that is an interesting choice of words for one of the sites top boot licking toadies.

And I doubt I have any, but if I did it would be one more friend and supporter than you have. All you have is a couple of other toadies.

Now, this would be the beginning of a "slugging it out," estragon, if I was going to play. But I'm not. (other than, perhaps, to laugh at LC for calling me out on a typo considering the drunken ramblings and garbling of his recent fast as a bunny "I'm gone/I'm back" rants. :D)

Whatever. As I said before, in the words of Dewar's Scotch, "some things never change."

The scintillating wit is underwhelming.

Now for something completely different. SilkStockingsLover's "Curiosity" series got good comments but the scores don't reflect that. Go figure.

So is your weak attempt at a "slugging it out." Sorry, chum, not your league.

That was a slug? Please.

Now to business.

DG Hear, MFG, has a new one in the works, but he tells me it's not going to Lit to begin with, as it's to be an entry in a competition on another site I won't mention. I do hope, though, that it does get to Lit eventually.

No, I didn't "think" it, I knew it. Now let us grow up a wee bit and stop the schoolyard nonsense.

Wow,

For the life of me, I can't see why you even mentioned their spats in this thread. Its like you go looking for a fight, and then act like you're above it all?

More and more threads become worthless reading, with all the stupid word wars going on here.

OPs need to stay on topic, there's already enough thread jacking without this babble.

AngelBell is getting more exposure, and it has a paternalistic air. As usual, hot stroke.

Happy pi day. And while you’re preparing or waiting for your pie, here’s some things to keep you occupied.

Alessio Brio is back on a Big Triple, with “Naught Good”, a non-E that stops just short of over the top. But she does give her readers an EC with “Down on the Beach”, and she’s very much down with that. And "Hallowing Eve", an out girls' night.

Finally, Jett73 has Susan heating up the Cote d’Ivoire four ways to breakfast with “Ebony in Ivory, Again!”, an encore presentation.

Pi dates

Hah! 'Pi' day. Nice one estragon ;) Haven't heard that before. Maybe that's because in Oz we write our dates day/month. 14/3 doesn't quite work. We have to wait until July to get a decent 'pi' day approximation with 22/7!
Thanks again for the mention - appreciated.
