Embarras de Richesse

That's fine with me. So, when you tell me to stop posting opinions on a topic that's running that others are posting as well, I'll tell you to stick it. Same goes for Sandra, especially when she hasn't been posting to the topic and only seems to want to brown nose you, knowing that you pump up the stories of your "clients" and posting buddies.

Nigel Debonnaire, an author whose work I've enjoyed in the past, has a new one "Protecting Daughter's Virtue", with a novel plotline.

I thought so--a fan of sr71plt. I'm not a bit surprised.

Is he still pissing around about me? I don't see his posts except in your quote. What a pissy little coward he is, trying to bully a woman as the only way to raise his stature. I think he doesn't really have feedback, just bile. All because I asked him politely to stick to story feedback and quit the personal attacks. He says I have no business joining a discussion? One he joined on page 23? Who made him moderator?

Did he ever quote your words he accuses you of directing at him? "when you tell me to stop posting opinions on a topic" implies you did. I see only two time you told him to post what he wants. He needs to quote your words to be believable.

Well, yes, as contrasted with you, I'm very much a fan of his. That's not a secret I'm keeping, but you're the one who has brought it up, so maybe it bothers you. I've been reading him for years. He's a great storyteller, has a whole load of excellent stories posted here, and his writing advice on this forum has been sterling. I've also always been able to see all of his observations about you. So? I'm not the one making anything of that.

Someone finally said it. Been reading my emails on these and have wondered why this wasn't pointed out earlier. Guys, this IS Pilot. Same language. Same techniques. Same dogged determination to attack the same people and refusal to ever let it go. An asshole by any other name....

Serenissima Syd, an alt? No, I very much doubt that. The ol' boi has too much ego to disguise himself. This one is fanfic; but so what? I have to go back to work. As for you, Serenissima, why no entry in the contest? Or are you saving it for commercial publication?

RedHairedandFriendly has what she did on her summer vacation, and it's Red-hot. I wish I'd gone to that camp.

AlwaysHungry has an international get-together in "An Austrian in Alabama"; besides alliteration, I'm glad to read about a hot, sweaty fuck-and-suck. Always.

As I said earlier, GoodyGoodyTwoShoes has a highly-regarded entry in Summer Lovin', and having just finished reading it, I concur entirely. The ultimate chick story (and that's not a put-down, because it's a tough area in which to compete; lots of fine writers there), hot and sweet and totally feel-good.

Interesting that she and IlMonAmour are both residents of Chicagoland. Is there a Chicago School of women writers of erotica?

These two ladies have written very fine stories for Summer Lovin'. Plenty of good stuff here.

If there was, I played hookey. :(

Perhaps it's just that we all learned "to give da guys what they wanna have."

It's in between the Chicago School of Sociology and the Chicago School of Economics. They had to put the women somewhere. :D

OK, that was a really bad academic joke, but I just couldn't resist.

Oh my goodness! Who shat in your corn flakes, creampuff? Must have been sr71, I guess. Let's take another wild guess. You are yet another client of estragon's who signed on with him to get your stories pimped on the forum? I hope you got a second opinion on the actual edit.

Hmmm, interesting. On one hand Pilot has never been shy of tooting his own horn, however if he were going to "alt" on us, I think he wouldn't be so blatant.

Does have the same style, but Pilot never accused authors of ass kissing Estragon, he just used to question Estragon's right to rave about or in the disappointments thread put down a story.

I'm going to put my vote that this is not Pilot, even with Virgina as a location, they somewhat talk the talk, but my gut says no.

Besides Pilot would want credit for everything he says.

Lovecraft68, quite so. This one is a fanfic. If imitation is the sincerest form of cliché, this bucko has got his nose...ah well, whatever. Now, do you want the fuckin' beers I owe you or don't you? Of course, a killer Martini or two....

Now to work.

Good stuff just now.

Roden Addison has “A Warning to Older Men,”, a nice plot twist, ripped from the headlines. This is the last of his stories I will copy edit; I’ll miss copy editing for this fine writer.

Privates1stClass has a James Bond H&S, “Sleeping With the Competition”. Well, they’re in bed anyway. Another member of the Chicago school, P1C has written a cute, hot, engaging story.

SilkStockingsLover’s latest,”Taking Jasmine Walker”, is an epitome of her storytelling; if you’re a newcomer to Lit, or even if you’re not, and Lesbian D/s is your thing, Silk is as good as it gets. Her plots may be much of the same, but the heat and the games carry the reader through, every time.

Look, lambchop, if sr71plt, your ideel, couldn't get me off of Lit, do you really think your third-rate imitation will accomplish anything? Dig it, puffball, you're neither big enough, brave enough, strong enough, smart enough or old enough. So go play with the little kids.

I have to agree, GGTS has quite a read that is entirely realistic, hot, sweet and fantastic. I believe I had mentioned another story from the contest to you, however once I landed on this read, that statement is null and void. Loved her story from start to finish. It's nice to see the works brought forth for the contest.

Didn't you know, E, us writers join forces in the area :) But in all seriousness, it's a funny coincidence.

Il, Privates1stClass had a H&S story that I found worth reading, set in Chicago, and he also is a resident of Chicagoland.

I really think that there's a Chicago school of erotic writers, as well as a Texas school. Must be something in the water.

I used to think it was Michigan, but maybe Chicago has taken over.

Considering it's to be a weekend for reading and writing, I will read that. Thank you for the recommendation.

Something in the water, there very well could be.

I used to think it was Michigan, but maybe Chicago has taken over.

Maybe it's something with the Great Lakes....

Can we call it "Greater Chicagoland"? Or are the wolverine types going to descend upon me with their customary ferocity? I may point out in my own defense that my revered mother (RIP), and her grandson my nephew, are both graduates of the U of Michigan. However, on November 24, it is all-out war, as Michigan plays Cornell at Madison Square Garden for the Frozen Apple.

Enough Disgressions, Back to Work

Good to see Dark in the Summer Lovin' hunt with “Mom’s Second Chance”. Although I’m not a great I/T fan, Dark (writing under his acknowledged alt LesLumens) has some deft characterization, as well as the usual hot suck-and-fuck. Achilles isn't sulking in his tent.

Saxon Stonedyke has a second entry, “Dog Days”. Might have a copyright issue, and I doubt she can “circumnavigate Eastern North America” (as to "circumnavigating" North America, as Ol’ Blue Eyes would say, it’s “All or Nothing at All”). But what the writing lacks in commas, it makes up for with Saxon’s well-written hot Lesbian sex, and a good fight to round it all off.

SweetPrettyAss (love the handle, kid) has gone to the ballgame in “Baseball Annie”. I don’t know about the strikes, but she has her hands on all the balls she can find. No seventh-inning stretch for our Sylvia, as she takes whatever the boys throw at (or into) her. I wonder if she’s a hockey fan as well.

Good stuff in this contest.

Correction to the Foregoing

"My bad", much as I hate that phrase. Saxon Stonedyke informs me that circumnavigating Eastern North America is quite possible, if one uses the Intracoastal Waterway, rounds Atlantic Canada to the St. Lawrence Seaway, takes St. Larry to the Great Lakes, and The Mighty Mississip' to and around the Gulf of Mexico. There are other routes, involving the Tombigbee River (great name!), the Erie Canal, and many more. In fact, there are associations and clubs dedicated to this adventure (known to the initiate as the "Great Loop").

I have a book called "River Horse" that I picked up at a sale somewhere and it was written by guy who traversed the US via river. Don't know if he did that "loop," but he might have. I read about half or so and it was pretty neat. I should get back to it but I'd have to start all over at this point, I think.

That Great Loop thing sounds like an adventure.

Now, some new stories.

wantssomefun1951 has a feel-good, "Healing". A warm and happy story, from the author of "Mall Santa", which ran strong in the Winter Holiday contest.

RedHairedandFriendly has a Non-E feel-good, "Forgiveness", but as it involves a cheating spouse, I suggest Red scatter some anti-troll powder around her computer. I suppose it's a lost cause, but does anybody remember who suggested we pray "Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us"?

Roden Addison, coming off a Summer Lovin' entry that did less well that I expected, has got Ch 2 of "The Widow's Daughter", and the fans like it. Skullduggery is afoot; can Jake and Co. come to the rescue? Tune in for the next thrilling episode.
