Reader on Ch.2: I was enjoying the story until you brought up [fetish A and fetish B].
Me: Oh? You mean the ones I mentioned in the preface to the first chapter, and spent several paragraphs detailing, and tagged?
Reader: Yes, those ones.

Well, leaving aside the potential issues of (mis)categorization, it just amuses me slightly that anyone would bother to mention it. They presumably don't believe that I'm going to go back and scrub those elements from the story to make them happy. I guess maybe they hope that I'll write something very similar next time but without any [A&B] now I know that one reader got squicked.
