Emily’s NEW positivity and being nice to each other thread

A positivity thread, what a lovely idea.
I thought so. It’s rather become a worship women with red hair and post nude GIFs thread.

[and - full disclosure - the occasional tasteful Emily Alyn Lind GIF as well]

But every 100th post is someone being positive, which is something I guess.

To be fair, the redhead worship and nude GIFs seem to be posted with only the most positive intentions.

It's a paradox of a positivity thread that if you complain about not enough positivity, you can be called out for not being positive. ;)

Why is it, whenever I don't check into this thread for a few days it becomes interesting.

Right, since we're lacking positivity, here goes.

I love you guys.

In the boring humdrum of my every day, when I have to deal with and react to the antics of what sometimes feel like an entirely different species, I can escape here and read stuff that makes me cackle and cry and, frequently, both.

I'll never meet any of you (well, lets rather just call it monumentally unlikely to account for all eventualities) - but that doesn't mean you don't all hold very special places in my heart.

(even you, @StillStunned , despite your awful puns)

love and rockets.

Who knows, you may have bumped into one of us unknowingly.

I'm trying to finish writing a story, but it's gotten kinda boring because I know how it ends.

I think Em is implying that the original purpose of the thread has been hung, drawn, quartered, glued back together, quartered again, stapled to the wall and then set on fire.

To be fair, that's pretty much what happens to every other thread here, too...

And like a vampire, it keeps coming back to life.

I like checking Wikipedia's home page for the on this date section. On Jan 28, 1748 Horace Walpole wrote a letter to a friend in which he coined the word Serendipity.

We should considering renaming it the Rasputin with Boobs thread.

Ah! You've invoked a memory from my childhood. Saw Fantasia when I was five. I still remember shrinking into my seat at that scene.

(We when into NYC to see a theater re-release)

The re-release sucked in my book. Scenes were Bowdlerized in the remake.

To wit, my fave memory of the original - as a pre-teen - was the bare-breasted centauresses preparing for a party with the centaurs. Beethoven’s 6th was the background music.

Your autocorrect changed "awesome" to "awful". You should get it looked at.

Well, then. I have a positive post about you, young lady. Your wit, charm and intelligence are most appreciated. Thank you so much for that.

To your detractors who rail at the light-hearted (and oft sexy) fun you have to offer on AH, I say ‘thpthpthpthpthp’!
