Emily’s NEW positivity and being nice to each other thread

Nice to look at. But all that wet hair... yuck. Like when a wet shower curtain gets stuck to your leg, and it feels like you're being molested by a clammy ghost.
Hey now, stop kink-shaming the people who like wet hair and/or wet shower curtains and/or clammy ghost molestation.

Alright, I'll apologise for the clammy ghost molestation bit. But I maintain that long wet hair and wet shower curtains are objectively nasty.

Not so sure about that. I seem to remember almost all of them being used in Coleoidphilia
No squids in either Coleoidphilia or Determination. A giant one, called Duxie (another of my recherché jokes no one got) in the final part, Caputpedes.

However, as both are shape-shifting aliens, they can grow as many tentacles as they (or their partner) likes. I have David do this at Emily’s request in one scene. Can’t recall which episode.

Looks like a generated image to me, although it could just be a lot of touching up in post.
I did an on-line test where you had to say AI or real. I did worse than if I’d just closed my eyes.

Now Adobe has generative AI (for object removal or replacement, and general retouching) it’s kinda even harder to tell.

Look at the hand. The thumb is doing weird stuff.
Mm. It looks like the hem of the shirt has fallen down over it; the fabric is following the contour of the thumb under it and there is a fold in approximately the right place.

Reasons it could be AI: she's really hot.

Reasons I think it's a real girl:

1. moles on her boobs on areas that would actually be exposed to sun e.g near the armpit and on the inner curves
2. her face is asymmetrical:
2.1 eyebrows are pruned and shaped differently, and her left eyebrow is further to the outside of her face than her right one
2.2 her tubercle is off-center of her cupid's bow
2.3 her lower vermillion border is rounder on the left hand side than the right hand side.

these are all such subtle "flaws" that I feel that an AI would not have added them.

regardless, she's gorgeous.

If it's AI, it's very clever. The camera focus is just short of her eyes, meaning he (or she) just missed it. The hair on her forehead is sharp. A photographer can make the mistake. Hard to believe AI would copy it.

A Victorian MP, Georgie Purcell, had a photo of her altered and shown on a national TV news network. Her boobs were increased, and her dress altered to a crop top and a skirt. Channel Nine apologised and said it was an unintended result of “automation by Photoshop”.

Adobe called that bullshit (but politely). They said it could only have happened by someone actively manipulating the image.

I’m not an Adobe expert - that’s my other half - but he showed me replacing a lamp with a Christmas tree and then a dolphin balancing on its tail. It was all perfectly lit, the shadows looked realistic, and the colors blended. It was kinda freaky.

I never argue with an author about their work. Not sure which story in the Coleoidphilia series it was, but David was very busy with lots of tentacles. 🐙☺️

Yes. You do. Restraining her arms and legs and ‘filling the tube’ if my memory serves me. We are in complete agreement. Initial point was that in your story, the cephalopod needed more than three.
