Emily’s NEW positivity and being nice to each other thread

this film broke me into little, unfixable pieces. It was a thoroughly visceral experience, second maybe only to reading "The Road" in terms of things I never, ever want to experience ever again.
Me too. I watched it when I was single. I cried until like 2am.

While Ralph maybe isn’t quite my type, I love his acting. He should have won an Oscar for Grand Budapest Hotel. And with all those other actors vying for attention (and Léa Seydoux in a maid’s costume 😍).

His, and F. Murray Abraham's understated performance made Grand Budapest Hotel!

Like it or not Em, what you've created in this thread it a virtual coffee house where people hand out and share things.

Took my aunt to the hospital for a procedure today. Not cancer, not an ulcer. Probably just a lingering stomach virus she can't kick exacerbated by her meds.

Sorry to get positivity in the redheadthread.

The English Patient - beautiful movie. But you’ll need Kleenex (no, not for that!)
Well that sucks. Here I am in my comfy Jammie’s, cat curled up in my lap, nice glass of wine, and a box of tissues. The movie is only available is I subscribe to another streaming channel. 🙍‍♀️
