Favorite Christmas movies

It’s a Wonderful Life
Love Actually (can watch this any time of the year)
A Christmas Carol (1951)
A Christmas Carol (1938)
A Christmas Story
Miracle On 34th Street (1947)
Scrooged

The Christmas Chronicles - Kurt Russell as a street-smart Santa who runs into a little trouble.
A Christmas Horror Story - four interlaced tales of horror at Christmas time, framed by William Shatner as a radio host.

And all the other classic ones that have already been mentioned, of course.

OK, I just watched my first Christmas movie in a long time. I was left home alone and couldn't find anything else I wanted to watch on the TV. "The Holiday," with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. Schmaltzy but not too bad.

Of the classics, I'd have to say "Miracle on 34th Street." I absolutely loath "It's a Wonderful Life."

Had this discussion a few months back in a drunken haze with a couple of mates.

One said "Zulu" was his favourite Christmas film.

I said what's that got to do with Christmas? He said nothing, he just likes watching it over Christmas.... lmao..... 🤣

I knew what he meant though. Christmas specific films can grate after awhile.

A classic film that I like to watch over Christmas, and is invariably on over the festive period here in the UK is the "Great Escape".

Die Hard.

Home Alone.

Home Alone 2.

12 Dates of Christmas. (I don't care if y'all wanna make fun of me, I'm a romantic sucker at heart. LOL).

The Santa Clause

How The Grinch Stole Christmas. (The cartoon, not the shitty Jim Carey movie).
