Biden's idea of "isolating" Russia, which is one sixth of the world's land, which has a border with China, which in turn has a border with India, is the height of stupidity. It's makes America look very dumb indeed about world geography. Russia can look east and south instead of west.

And the M1 Abrams, refitted with advanced ceramic composite armor and armored ammo boxes, have exceptional survivability on the battlefield. The M1 Abrams' main advantage on the battlefield is it’s offensive capabilities. The M1 Abrams' four man crew is a also huge advantage imho.

Honestly, if I was a Russian tank crew, I think I would prefer being shot for cowardice rather than being burned alive by a ridiculously accurate M1A1 DU sabot round. - The fact that the M1A1s can preemptively identify and target their Russian counterparts only strengthens that line of thinking.

However, much like the Leopard IIs and the Challenger 2s, the M1A1s will likely be employed as highly mobile precision artillery pieces / command posts.

Ultimately, the biggest thing the arrival of the M1A1s bring to the fight is a moral boost.

I can imagine the eyes of the Ukrainian forces lighting up when they see those monsters rolling through.

The Ukrainian forces eyes will definitely light up even more when the first F-16s and ATACMS enter the fray.
