Fuck you, I like it

2. Fuck you, and let me pass you on the interstate. I know the speed limit, if I choose to drive faster, let me pass you Mr. Slow Driver in the fast lane holding up traffic causing accidents by causing others to change lanes attempting to get by you.

Fuck you, I’m getting Botox. I know I should I age gracefully, but I’m not. I like looking younger. I know this is anti-feminist and goes against what people see me as, but fuck you, I like being cute.

I haven’t yet.
But I’m going to.
Did you do it???? I've thought about it recently but would need to do a ton of research and I'm sick of research lol

To answer this thread,
Fuck you, yes you. Wait that's not how it goes. Let's me try again,

Fuck you, I'm gonna do the bare minimum today

Just noticed this. Feminism started out being about individual choice and equality. The standards society imposed on women years ago meant that they could be employed in a limited number of occupations (sales, nurse, teacher or secretary) but at a lower wage than a man doing the same job and only until they got onto their proper occupation, that of getting married, having babies and staying at home to raise them. Sexuality was frowned on and anything related to that, eg dress and decorum, was regulated. (Mind you, wearing a little makeup and nylons of some sort was almost mandatory.)

Women have now shed most of those externally-imposed standards. They can pretty much go into any occupation, live independently, etc. Sexuality, dress and behaviour are much less constrained.

In a paradox however, there seem have been not an actual emancipation from societal standards but to some degree the mere imposition of a different set of rules and expectations. The classic example is that of women who freely choose to be stay-at-home moms facing open scorn from other women, as if they are somehow letting down the side by not being astrophysicists or venture capitalists.

Long lead-up to my main point, which is this. Feminism should be about your right to choose, your freedom from having to conform to somebody else’s rulebook. If somebody in your life is insisting that you do the Botox thing for them, ditch them like a rabid bat and find somebody better, but if you’re doing it because it would please you, then go for it and ignore the controlling hisses of sois-dissant ‘feminists’ who only seek to impose their own rigid dogma on others vice supporting their right to make their own decisions.

Fuck you! I like to wash dishes. When I'm done, you're welcome to run them through the dishwasher.;p

Fuck you, I like pumpkin spiced lattes. It’s trendy, it’s basic bitch, it’s delicious.

When it’s available I like to get one for a treat.
I'll pass on lattes...coffee should be black. Milkshakes are another matter.

Fuck you, I like pumpkin spice milkshakes.
