Now I was just reading the results in the vanity searches poll and realised that bi does a search daily to catch up one her conversations. Don't you think it would be really nice for her when she gets back to be able to do a search and find her name all over the place. I would assume she does a search on her full user name as "bi" would turn up too many results.
I think, just some nice random postings of her name should give her some wonderful if not slightly confusing results on her return.
Naturally I am not using her full name in this post as I wouldn't want her to find it first up.

our house gets like that. its not dirty, but it always seems there is too much "stuff" kicking around.

Yup. It doesn't help that my hubby and I both have a high clutter tolerance.

When I ask the kids to get their stuff out of the living room, you'd think I'd just asked them if I could skin them alive. They always change their tune when I get out a garbage bag! So far, the sight of the garbage bag is deterrent enough, and the toys get picked up.

I remember those days "If you don't pick it up, then I will" and the kids go scurrying to pick up their shit. Now that I think of it, we still have those days, just different kinds of stuff.

My younger son pushes it beyond clutter though. He's a slob. There's a difference between clutter and a mess. I let him use my car because, well I don't use it much and we don't have to go across town to pick him up every night after school sports. Then, when I do use it, I have to tell him to clean out the banana peels, gatorade bottles, and pears that have teeth marks in them. Gross. When I get the explorer back on the road, he's gonna be using that instead.

see... this is what college REALLY teaches you. you learn how to live with no money and you find that the shit lying around the house is not only excusable, but it creates atmosphere.

only, when that atmosphere becomes a green mist it really is time to clean.

Good luck with that. I vacuumed last night before bed (because I had to use the carpet shampooer to get the ground-in spaghetti sauce out of the living room rug, but that's another story). When I got up this morning, there were dead ladybugs on the floor. They're getting in somewhere. I just don't know where.
