Gianna's Visions

The day after seeing this thread, I kept seeing orchids in real life, I swear I had never noticed them anywhere for sale before but there they were, looking for all the world like vaginas on a stem.

So, the other night my gel was playing her guitar for me, then said I owed her a poem, so here it is......

Prostrate to life's altar

Is that a trans joke?

Mad flower, it looks almost figurative, like a girl ina dress.

Hi xssve:), no actually I drew the sketch to accompany a poem on another thread. It is part of a line in that poem. But frequently we all are a joke....*grin* in that we try too hard to be that which we are...and become a parody of ourselves.

It does look like a fairy or an angel...I was thinking of morphing it into something....I am going to study it a while and then make that a project.

White Peacock Butterfly previously posted unedited...here it is cleaned of its background with a light airbrush of green

that's a fair length of time. i've been taking photos for about the same actually. if you dont have much money to spend on a digital slr camera - i can recommend the pentax's.. simple to use and cheaper than all the others on the market!

Lol....trying to get my son to hold still for it was a challenge...he wiggled and squirmed....I have a whole slew of photos that are blurry and messed up.
Thank you pleasantville.

I am back! My ex dropped my old camera so I have been without for almost two months....eep! so many lost photo opportunities. Here is the first one...

An old boat house and pier that was destroyed by the hurricanes a few years ago.

This Oak tree was compelling to me, while I did not have a camera I would walk by it everyday and wish I could take this photo.

A snowy egret in the morning light....the bright white feathers almost too much to take this image....next time I will adjust the sensitivity of the camera.

Atlantic Bottle-nosed Dolphins. note the small fin in the middle. The baby is accompanied by two females usually the mother and another female that helps to protect the little one from predation.
