I know what you mean. It sat dormant in my subscribed list. Covid seems to have altered a lot of life but I wondered if this little corner of weirdness could be resurrected.

Well said Daisy. Never trust anyone who can't drink a decent cup of tea - decent I say, not one of those insipid ones that are scared by the sight of a tea bag.

My sister in law was one of those. Her being a Mancunian, should have known better, her dad used to make a wonderful cuppa. She used to flash the teabag at the cup so quick it hardly got wet.

I spent a fair bit of time in Germany during my working years, always the same hotel and we had to train their catering staff to make tea the English way. Their version originally was to provide a mug of hot, but not boiling water and a teabag on the side and you dunked it at the table. Yuck. Most European countries do the same. Well those that I’ve visited anyway.

I've had years of practice making tea, great way to get a break at work. Offer to make the wets.

Had a great weekend, catch up night out with mates, discussing why we don't do it more often. Then Sunday remembering why we don't do it more often.
