But, in a small thread hijack, I'd like to point out some interesting math (interesting to me, at least). Let's say you have two young women who go to college together. One arrived at college with a number of at least 12 for vaginal sex and 20ish for BJs given to guys with whom she didn't have intercourse. The other arrived with a total number of 3 for all types of sex. At the end of their third year of college, our first young woman's numbers are 50+ (vaginal)/100+ (BJ only)/and probably double digits anal (although, hard partying makes this all tricky to recall exactly). Our second young woman's number is at 4 because she met a guy three weeks into her freshman year and stayed with him. Who do you think had more sex during those first three years of college? A hint that might help... the first young woman met a guy at the start of her fourth year and gave up casual hookups, yet had at least as much sex that year than she had the first three years combined.

The answer, at least in my case, is that my friend had much more sex (of all types) over those first three years than I did, despite having a mere fraction of the number of partners. See, I had almost no repeats, so I put my total sexual encounters during those three years at less than 200. If she had sex at least twice a week with her BF (I lived with her two of those years and can attest it was actually quite a bit more frequent), she beat me by having sex of some kind at least 100 times more than me.

So, total number of partners do not a full story make.

No it doesn't. I have been married twice for over 40 years if you add both up, there was lots of sex. But if you ask about exciting sex that would mostly be with other women -- maybe 30 in all. So it's complcated
