A friend of mine at work says "you're only as old as you feel."

I responded "I FEEL OLD!"

We have that feeling too - that everyone in the scene is older than us ... but a lot of the people that we were hanging out with may have been older, but definately didn't act it. And since maturity level is pretty important too, and I would have to say that compared to the people we were spending time with, we are ancient ... lol

LOL I have felt ancient at times too, especially since in my little group of friends that I hang with the most, there are a lot of spankos and "brats", and a few ageplayers. So there are times when I feel like I'm surrounded by children. Some of the people in my group are my parents and grandparents' age and are my closest friends, yet when I think of it in comparison to my relatives, they don't seem that "old" when often they are actually much older. Just goes to show that age really IS all in the head.

24... sometimes going on 100, sometimes going on 12. Today it is more like 150.
