CCP is the name they accept for the historical period when it was still in its early days, now the official media has changed it into CPC. In its development, the membership of the Party has been expanded to include the capitalist class, which was the opposite of poletariat and the target of its previous revolution. Revolution in Chinese means to take away the life of somebody. So in this sense, it is no worry that CPC or CCP as you named it will survive.

I don't understand. Will China, or will it not, remain under the rule of the organization called the Chinese Communist Party or Communist Party of China? An organization which, despite changes in name and in ideology, is institutionally continuous with Mao's Party.

A criminal syndicate is a criminal syndicate no matter what name it flies under. And no, the CCP or CPC will not survive. The question, and concern, is what will replace it?

My fear, and apparently Xi's with the recent purges, is that the military will take over. They have a small cadre' of officer's that think a nuclear war is winnable.
 
More the reason to tariffs and further isolation.

Force those jobs to relocate.

It's worth the price.

We really should not want the PRC to be any more unstable than it has to be. Too much danger of unintended consequences.
