Plus a host of other local bands/support acts/bands who I don't remember and who would mean nothing to you..

Booked to see The Mission and Peter Murphy in September. Wanted to go see Ministry but it's the day we arrive back from holiday so jetlag...

Loads of bands I'd like to see but haven't yet.....Slipknot would be amazing...also Editors, Maccabees, Fatboy Slim, Disclosure, Bastille, RHCP...The kids wouldn't let me go with them to watch Twenty One Pilots and I'd have felt totally out of place, but they put on an amazing show....that drummer is incredible.

Throbbing Gristle?

Lally.
Your list speaks to me.
It's saying "Far and Lally need to go see twenty one pilots together!"

Yes?

Awesome list! I'd love to know the timeline...

the Ramones.
CBGB's

My friends crowd surfing.
Me kicking a person on the floor in front of me just 'cause.

Walking through The Bowery at 0400.

Eeek!!!

Roger Waters. He was married to my best friend's cousin at the time. He comped us the tix and VIP.

It was my Bday. I got WASTED!!!

Saw the Wall form the first row, partly from backstage.
Fell at a bar later that night... SPLAT.

Did not puke.

BOOM.

I saw him when he was doing Darkside, great show.

Aside from that, I've seen far too many, and most of the bands I wish I had seen are long gone :(

I also got dragged up on stage and eaten by the GWAR monster on Halloween... Ruined my shirt, but I got to hang out with Al Jorgensen and Dani Filth, was a strange night.

Awesome list! I'd love to know the timeline...

To be fair, most of them I only saw on 'comeback' tours rather than in their first flush of youth. CSN and King Crimson were last year, Depeche Mode/Linkin Park/NIN within the last 2-3 years. And Kraftwerk was early 90s when there were only 2 of the 4 original members.

The first gigs I went to were local bands that never got anywhere so I suppose the first proper band I saw were Teardrop Explodes.
