That’s student loans. Unis don’t get the interest on the loans. Government loans are relatively low interest. Predatory loans are high interest and the government doesn’t have anything to do with those private commercial loans. Don’t move the goalposts or argue sideways

Nope. The principal on the loans in question had already been long since paid back. The loan forgiveness simply meant the banks weren't going to squeeze any more blood from that particular turnip. No one's taxes paid for a nickel of it.
