Well, I've read all of your posts in this thread.

We aren't Borg. Quite frankly, I don't like anyone, aside from my Master, speaking for me. What is clear to me is that Doll is naive and might be getting in over her head, but I have been there too. How rude of you to presume to call her Dom sick when you don't even know him.

Just like 'nilla relationships, BDSM relationships go south. People make dumb mistakes. Doll is an adult and legally can fuck up just as hard as the rest of us.

We appreciate the concern, but NONE OF US have any clue whether DP and her "Master" aren't even one and the same person... This entire thread could be nothing more than one long continuous yank of our collective chains. The purpose of this thread was not to get advice, it was not created to learn something, the purpose of this thread is clearly to generate drama, which it has. In spades.

Through her words the OP has repeatedly demonstrated her refusal to accept responsibility for herself and her actions.

So please don't waste any more of your precious time, energy, or concern on someone who's only going to listen to what she wants to hear.

I think the concern... And the thought of notifyling CM etc... arises from a simple paradox....
Adults don't want/need someone to do things like that for them...
However...
If even a fraction of this womans threads are truthful... She is NOT an "adult".
SHe may be physicly "of age", but she is not "competent"... Not meaning it as an insult, but in the most technical of definitions.
She is most likely a danger to herself and others...
If ALL of her contentions are true...Then she really doesn't need to be in any type of relationship...She needs to go from "outpatient" to "inpatient" care for a week or so {more likely six months}, while they do some blood work and restart her med schedule from scratch. Put her on a diet etc..etc..etc..
Then probably twice weekly sessions with her therapist for about a year.
THAT would be a good start...

Right now, cruel as it may sound...This woman having free access to "dating forums" etc... Is a free form excercise in natural selection. No one does her any favors by defending her position...Even in the least degree.

Her cutting herself - if she is actually doing it - demonstrates that she needs care. she just hasn't spoken to or shown the right people her cuts or other mutilations she has done. If she had, they would have put her away.

I'm gonna tell my therapist about it today and he won't do anything. I've shown my old therapists my cuts before and they did nothing but give me the emergency number to call if I need help.

I don't need to go to the ER. Its fine...they're healing...and its not like I do it all the time...it was the first time in over a year...but I've been doing it on and off for over 10 years...its not a big deal.

The majority of the time the cuts are superficial and since it is a repeated history, the recommendations is to refer them back to their therapist. Therapists can only do so much until the patient gets TIRED of doing this and is willing to learn a different coping mechanisms.

Personally I wouldn't waste my breath on trying to tell her to do anything since she clearly doesn't listen and loves the attention she gets from all of this.

Most therapists when dealing with BPDs just throw their hands up and only do what is needed on the most basic level for therapy.

I spent at least 3 years studying BPD because some idiot councellor's coworker said that since I sounded like a friend of theirs and the friend was diagnosed with it, I must therefore have it. A councellor. With no psychology degree. *headbang* The psychologist that specializes in personality disorders vehemently disagreed. Post traumatic stress, most definately. BPD, no. I think I still have my books on how to deal with a bpd somewhere around here...

I'm actually not BPD. I'm bipolar.

But I told my therapist and he didn't say I need to go IP. He just told me to be careful and make sure it doesn't get infected.
