Black teen allegedly shocked with Taser by students dressed as KKK members in Woodsboro

A Black teenager was allegedly shocked with a Taser on Halloween night in Woodsboro by high school students dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, according to local attorney Matt Manning.

Manning, who has taken the teenage boy as his client, held a news conference in Corpus Christi on Wednesday morning.

The Woodsboro Police Department said it has opened an investigation into the incident and has acquired the help of the Texas Rangers from Sinton.

Manning did not identify the victim or perpetrators because they are all believed to be minors. Manning did confirm his client is in good health following the incident.

The local NAACP has deemed the incident a "hate crime" until further information is revealed.

In a Facebook post Nov. 9, Woodsboro Superintendent Ronald D. Segers Jr. stated the event did not occur at a school or school-sponsored activity. For that reason, Segers said in the statement, the district cannot punish the students involved.

KITCHENER — Flyers condemning interracial marriage have been circulating in Ontario’s Waterloo Region, and police say their hate crime unit is getting involved.

A photo of one of the flyers surfaced on social media earlier this week after they were reportedly mailed to people living around Wilfrid Laurier University.

They show a photo at the top of a white woman and a Black man smiling for the camera, but the text below alleges “negative consequences” of interracial marriage.

Last week, the Washington Post reported that an April 2020 examination of Facebook’s anti-racism algorithm found that roughly 90 percent of the ‘hate speech’ subject to content takedowns were statements of contempt and disgust directed at White people and men.

Facebook spokesman Andy Stone defended the company’s hate speech policies saying, “The Worst of the Worst project helped show us what kinds of hate speech our technology was and was not effectively detecting and understand what forms of it people believe to be the most insidious.”

The software was supposed to detect and automatically delete “hate speech” before users saw it. The company said its algorithms proactively caught more than 80 percent of what they deemed hate speech.

But that statistic hid an undiscussed and serious problem that was obvious to researchers. The algorithm was aggressively detecting comments denigrating White people more than attacks on any other group. One April 2020 document said roughly 90 percent of “hate speech” subject to content takedowns were statements of contempt, inferiority and disgust directed at White people and men.

Why This Is Important

This internal analysis of public sentiment performed by Facebook validates what many have been saying ever since Barack Obama was elected to the presidency. Hate directed at White people for absolutely no contemporary reason is rampant and out of control.

Moment Sacramento ‘Karen’ accuses black shopper of stealing her phone – only to find it in her purse

A woman has been condemned over a TikTok video showing her accusing a black man of stealing her phone in a shop – only to then find the phone in her own purse.

The unnamed woman was in a Spencer’s store inside the Sunrise Mall in Sacramento when she told a shop assistant that her phone had been stolen.

A clip uploaded by a person claiming to be the partner of the black man, named only as Kinley, was shared on TikTok.

In the video, now seen 2.2 million times, the accuser rifles through her bag while accusing Kinley of theft at the branch of Spencer’s.

‘Can you call it, because she won’t let us call it,’ says the person who is filming to the assistant, who attempts to mediate.

‘Well, he could have turned off the ringer,’ the woman who made the accusation replies.

‘Oh my God – do you want him to get f****** naked, lady?’ the person filming says.

‘I really need my phone,’ the accuser says.

‘Do you want to pat him down?’ the cameraperson asks sarcastically.

The accuser continues to allege that Kinley took her phone, saying: ‘I had it, and then you walked right behind me and you took it.’

Kinley responds: ‘I did not take it.’

The shop assistants hands over his phone to the woman so that she can call her mobile – which rings inside her bag.

‘I’m so sorry,’ she tells Kinley. ‘I apologize.’

His partner replies: ‘F*** off. No you’re not.’

On TikTok, Kinley’s partner wrote: ‘My husband’s first time in 28 years. He grew up in the south too. Not a month in Cali and this happens.’

Further details about the couple have yet to emerge. Kinley has shared gushing tributes to his partner on his Instagram, and appears to work with dogs for a living.

The story bore strong parallels to that of Miya Ponsetto, 23, who in December 2020 accused a 14-year-old black boy of stealing her phone inside the lobby of the Arlo Hotel in Manhattan.

Family seeks answers after Little Rock man suffers ‘medical distress,’ dies after arrest

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KARK) — A Little Rock man died last Friday when police said he suffered “medical distress” after being arrested following a fight at a movie theater. Family members said they hope an autopsy reveals what happened.

Terence Caffey, 30, died after attending a film at the Movie Tavern with a friend. An off-duty deputy returned to the theater that night when employees said Caffey attacked them. Caffey and the deputy then fought.

“After the scuffle, the deputy called for MEMS to check him out and check [Caffey] out, also,” said Lt. Cody Burk, a spokesperson for the Pulaski Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Caffey was arrested before going into what Burk called “medical distress.” He lost consciousness despite CPR being administered.

“He was transported to Baptist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” Burk said.

Caffey’s family said he was shot when he was a small child, but other than that, they said they were unaware of any underlying medical problems.

A video has emerged in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, showing a clerk at a local convenience store beating a customer as he suffers a seizure. Now, the community is outraged as the victim has been hospitalized and days later cannot move his whole body.

On Dec. 22 at the Princess Market convenience store around 3:30 p.m. on West Raleigh Boulevard after a 56-year-old Black man entered the store.

Gregory Evans, according to his family, started having a seizure when the clerk left his post behind the counter to confront him. It was then that the person started to beat Evans with a stick despite the man experiencing a medical crisis. The violent assault was captured on cellphones by other customers.

The family of a Black man stabbed and killed by a White man over a parking spot is pleading for harsher charges against the defendant.


On Dec. 2 in St. Paul, Minnesota, 27-year-old Arnell “AJ” Stewart parked his car on a residential street while visiting his family. When he returned approximately 10 minutes later, 50-year-old Brian Kjellberg confronted Stewart about using the space to park. Attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong told rolling out Kjellberg has a history of harassing young Black people around the neighborhood.

Kjellberg said the two got into a confrontation that led Stewart to punch him in the face, despite there being no visible wounds on Kjellberg’s booking photo. Stewart’s family told rolling out they doubt the “goofy” 27-year-old got into a fight with a stranger, as he enjoyed doing community service and promoting positivity to teenagers in his free time. Kjellberg ultimately pulled out a homemade shank and stabbed Stewart once in the chest, according to Armstrong.
