i seriously love you guys!
i'm not in NJ... though i'd gladly kill woodland creatures or distant relatives in order to move back there. i'm in maryland... much to my dismay.sassy_girl1963 said:Hey! That's where I just moved from.....but hee-haw hell is in Central PA - not NJ........

maryland sucks on so many levels i can't even begin to list them. i highly recommend avoiding this particular state at all costs.
no biggie... i talk about jersey more than i talk about this shit-hole i'm in now... you made a logical assumption.sassy_girl1963 said:Opps so sorry EJ to have put you in the wrong state, for some strange reason that was where I thought you were....................

without getting into all the background and minutia, it essentially boils down to my deciding to go back to college. one i finished i just never left the state... plus my maternal grandmother (who's 94) and my father are close by. i was actually born in MD... but i'll deny it if you ever bring it up. thankfully, i went to MS and HS in jersey... some of the best public schools on the east coast, IMO.silverwhisper said:EJ, i've been meaning to ask: what pulled you down to the wrong side of the mason/dixon line?

Recidiva said:I love where I grew up in New Jersey, around Morristown, it's gorgeous. Also around Princeton is just beautiful, drive through in the spring.
I'm a staunch defender of NJ!
I've been to every other state and there are many, many other contenders for armpittiness.
bisexplicit said:I know, I have an exboyfriend who lived in a really nice area of New Jersey. But, of course, since I'm mean, I would spend a good amount of time making fun of his state.
silverwhisper said:recidiva: morristown? holy crap, i grew up in not far from the short hills mall! i live close to princeton now and damn is it ever gorgeous. plus, they have a superb microbrewery. :>

not feelin' the jersey shore much myself.bisexplicit said:I also like the Jersey shore.
But, unfortunately, when people think of New Jersey, they think of the ever-so-lovely highways.

THAT'S what we like to hear.midwestyankee said:My name is Yank and I admit to spending nearly an entire day with my cell phone's tech support staff recently so that I could get free internet access while travelling - mostly for playing around on Lit. I'll be spending the next couple of weeks on the left coast and yet want to keep up with the happenings here in Litland.
