nh's big book of Dr. visits.

The biopsy came back as cancer in situ in one spot and severe dysplasia in the other. So only one of the lesions is actual cancer at this point. And as of two weeks ago hadn't spread at all. So of all cancers types to have it's the best. The easiest to treat.

Fantastic! What's the next step?

Excellent news. Hooray for you being aggressive about getting your tests results. I think I would go for aggressive therapy also.

Maybe I missed it but have your bruising/hematomas healed from the caning? Did it end up with a normal (for you) healing time or not?

The hematomas have went down. Thank the powers that be! I still have a lot of bruising, but nothing I can't deal with.

Well they are going to push for a LEEP. I am going to push for a hysterectomy. So we'll see. I have an appointment lined up in a normal gyno office here in town, just in case the clinic drags their feet. So I'll see what they say on Monday and go from there.

Off to look at purchasing a new car. Trying to save some money by not having the rental for so long. So hopefully I'll be able to drive home in something new today.

Woo hoo! It worked. So my results say I'm still positive for the high risk HPV, which is no shocker. My immune system sucks.

I'm still going to push for aggressive therapy, especially since the HPV is still active, however I do have to wait until Monday to start setting that up.

Awww this is such good news! :)

I think you have right attitude aboutthe therapy nh. You can start planning now to really kick its butt ;)

I hope that you get to chill a little this weekend :rose:

ps. thanks to you and Puman xx

Thank God! Hopefully, you can get that hysterectomy and be finished with that mess in time to come see us in September! :D

And yay for new cars!

or if you don't think that would be advisable I guess this would work too. (PS -I personally have always wanted this for a car!! It'd be so cool!!)

Happy to hear you have your results and that they are at the good end of the bad news spectrum. Way to fight for your rights.

Cheers - K

Glad you got the (better of the worst) results, girly. Good luck on finding a car, too. If you get a car let me know what you get. *crosses fingers, toes, and anything else*(Chances are I won't be on Lit much this weekend.) :)

I think my luck is changing for the better! Found a car I loved today. Bit my nails while I waited for two hours to see if I could get it. And I did!! It's a 2007 Hyundai Elantra..it's sparkly blue, has a three year warranty, gap insurance, and best of all it's almost $60 cheaper a month than my saturn was. And the saturn was an 02!

My saturn was also a manual transmission, and had manual windows, door locks, etc. This one is all decked out with modern shit. I'm so excited! Here's a pic off some random website.

Progressive insurance is amazing. In the last ten years they've covered four totaled cars on my account. No I didn't total all of them! One was my ex, and one was my cousin on prom night. Anywho they've already paid their part on the saturn and everything.

I feel like I owe Master so much more now though. He gave me the $3000 for a down payment, and the $2,200 to pay off the saturn, and a few weeks ago he put back $5,000 for my medical bills. He's an amazing man. I owe him so much now I"m sure he can legally claim me as a possession!:D

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! I love you guys! And Dave, I would so drive that!

Pretty! Very happy for you, darlin' girl. You deserve it.

And to MasDom: I salute you, man. Not for the $$ support; *anyone* (who has some $$) can do that - but for the moral/mental/emotional support you're giving her, and the sense of security that she can focus her energies on getting well and not worry about the day-to-day vagaries of life. You *are* a man.

Glad to hear that it is on the shallow end of the Pool of Bad.

Seriously. I'll breathe a bit easier.

ETA: I rather like the Hyundai Elantra. I like Hyundais in general, as they've been doing good things with them since the late 90's. They're really a respectable value moniker nowadays. Good choice!

Thanks! I'm glad I picked a good one!:rose:

Please make sure that you're seeing a gyn-onc. It's a serious speciality among oncologists, and you deserve and need to have that advice.

General oncologists will tell you they know everything but they don't. I know this from bitter experience.

And if there's a sarcoma involved you need to get lots more info ASAP. I will help you if that's the case.

I'm not seeing an oncologist at all. I don't have insurance, so I see whoever can see me at the clinic.

I'm so glad to hear that the news is positive. Let's all hope that it stays that way.

Hey, sorry, NH, I had missed this thread. Best wishes and thoughts to you - it sounds as if this is treatable and you should have a good prognosis. But hugs, because it isn't nice.

nh, I'm so glad to hear that the biospy results are better than they could have been. You are being so strong and grown-up about this - that STUPID fucking disease doesn't stand a chance against someone as strong as you. You go, girly!

Oh - and STOP BEING A LUNATIC AND WEAR A FUCKING SEATBELT AT ALL TIMES, YOU LUNATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:kiss::rose:

Wonderful!!

And if you can't drive a wiener on wheels I guess this is an OK alternative. :p

And I really like that color. Regatta blue? Wow! I bet you're gonna look so cool zipping around in that car.
