I don't quite know how to make it clearer that I do not require 'editing' services. Perhaps people are deliberately missing the point. I simply require input as to general reaction and 'takes' on matters.

I have no 'grievance' but am merely making an observation of surprise at what seems a fairly obvious lacuna on what is otherwise an interesting site. Perhaps disappointment might sum it up.

In the final analysis, when a quite simple and innocuous point is being trashed so vehemently, you sort of shrug, roll the eyes and pass on your way...

But what you're asking for is an editing service, and one that many professional editors provide along side proofreading/copy-editing. Some call it developmental editing, some call it coaching, or critiquing, in the online story world it's often called beta reading -which is why I suggested you try asking on the editors forum.

I voiced no disapproval with your intent. Since you've twice ignored my explanation that there is simply no technical mechanism in place for you to do this, it seems to me that an argument is what you're seeking.

Honestly it doesn't matter what you want at this point. You've been so consistently pissy and insufferable in your responses here that I doubt anyone would want to help you even if you were able to throw a big enough hissy fit to get the rules changed.
