HAHA, like you I am younger but I understand what they are saying and I understand your points too. I think both sides are valid. I have to admit if I see a chick my age out with some old guy, first thing that comes to my mind is he has money especially if he is not particularly good looking. But then again, I have always pursued women much older then me without regard to money but in fairness I am motivated by beauty and sex over material things.

My opinion, if a man in his 40s still has what it takes to get a young woman in her early 20s, (with looks or money), he should do exactly that. I have a definite feeling that when we get old, and the most exciting thing in our day is watching paint dry, we are going to wish that we had not passed up so many opportunities. We only go around once in life, enjoy the rides before the amusement closes.

Even as a 25yo woman who wants to fuck someone poor and 20 years older, I still have to side with the others. Society has transformed what it means to be "successful", so you'll see young women desiring older men for their wisdom, knowledge, and maturity and you might think they are defying bio nature, but that's still really not too different from desiring them for their alpha position or money. The wiser maturer men are likely to be more successful, period.
And I don't think this is cynicism, it's realism. What's wrong with wanting a man for his "potential to be successful"? It's as natural as any man would want a beautiful woman, surely you don't think I'm a cynic for saying that?
