Pacific Northwest Roll Call

Yea, kinda smoky here since the weekend.
I read you had a girls night out and went guy watching?? Any more details? WE don't have clubs like that over here!
It's a traveling outfit. I went to one in May and another last night. Both at different bars. It's called Ladies night out. They go over East to Spokane and Walla Walla and Yakima. Maybe more. but I saw those areas listed. They are super fun. It's like a Magic Mike type show, only a lot more hands on. ;)
Bothell. Headed to Shoreline today.
I grew up in Bothell. ;)
Yeah. I have friends in the area where the fires are.

My daughter is friends with a couple of the Firefighters who have been sent to California and Eastern Washington. It is scary for sure.

I think there is more to the story here! ;)

I went to one in May for my Birthday. That one was for me. I had a blast!!! This one was for my friend. A late Bachelorette party. So she had the fun. I was the DD, so I still enjoyed the Eye Candy. But I didn't get on Stage this time.

This smoke is nasty. I feel bad for the ones closer.

These air quality warnings are terrible. Monday morning was like playing the “is it fog or smoke” game... a friend almost lost her house last weekend to a fire... shit’s getting too real.

Can anyone help me figure out a place to base my novel. I am thinking Washington State. It will be set during 1940s. Any and all help is appreciated.

it's weird to have to air quality warnings. But yes. I feel so bad for those in and around, or those who already deal with breathing problems.

If you are not from Washington, it would be hard to suggest an area. It would depend on what you are looking for. Small town, vs City. What it's known for? The attractions etc. Washington is very well known for it's weird City names. ;)

I want it right around Puget sound. I have heard that it is beautiful. The main character is going to grow up there. I want it close enough to the woods so that he can hunt and fish too.

Hisbfather might work in the shipyards in the area.

Well plenty of areas for Shipyards as Bremerton is home of a huge Naval Base. Of course I am not sure what it was like in the 40s. But it's only about an hour Ferry boat ride from Seattle.

Fire sucks

A few years ago my parents had a close call with a fire. It came with in a half mile of there house. Luckily it didn't get any closer.

May I suggest then that you pick one of the San Juan islands? Perhaps Friday harbor, orcas, or Lopez? They are beautiful, you can get to them by small plane or large ferry, and there is something about being able to see mountains and have a toe in the sound at the same time...

Although, now that I see your 1940s disclaimer, these might be too small for what you’re looking for. Perhaps something on Whidbey?

I did. When you are brought up on stage, it is because you are given a private dance. So typically you sit in a chair and they dance for you, or they will put you how they want you. :D

Eastern Washington?

Possibly moving to Eastern Washington in a couple of months. What do I need to know?

Depends on what area. Pack warm clothes, And barely there clothes. 😉 they get more like 4 seasons vs the wet sides, rain and more rain.
