Love this shot!

Was that difficult to get?

Not really.. heh.. I kinda fluked out on it though. I was using 800 ISO film, when I should've only been using 200. The fact that there's no real visible film grain astounds me. The effect on it is due to hand shake, I wasn't using my tripod. So, all in all, it was very simple to get

Yeah, I like my dumb luck

But, I've been studying a lot of photography books, and learning how to critique other people's work.. so I'm growing as a photographer.. having an SLR finally helps a lot too

We have a Canon, I think. Yours is a 35 mm, then?


I've been using the digital cause its so much easier - but it's a dinosaur!

Yeah, 35mm So I'm a bit more careful now about what I shoot. I'm very much enjoying it

But I'm off to bed.. leave for a vacation early tomorrow morning.

Naw, this is where I'm on vacation at

I live in Ontario.. it's a 2 hour drive to the airport, 1 hours 30 minute flight to this airport, and then 30 an hour drive to that park, from where I live

My whole family (on my mom's side) live in Quebec City! And I have one wonderful uncle living in Montreal. I love both places. We drive through Windsor and Toronto to get to Montreal and, subsequently, Quebec City.

I've only been through Toronto a few times, haven't really seen much of the city. Been in Montreal once, but just to my destination and back out. Cities generally make me nervous, so I've no qualms about getting the hell back out.

Halifax is different.. it might be the fact that I lived here as a child, I dunno.. But I'm completely relaxed here.

However, I've been in Ottawa numberous times, as well as Winnipeg & Edmonton. Lived in Halifax and Calgary and been to some of the larger cities in New Brunswick (Not that NB really has any cities, but that's okay)... This was all before I got into photography of course, so now I have to travel around to all these places again *nods knowingly*
