Yeah - sorry, I was too keen to get them on-line! Both are dragonflies photographed in my garden. The one on the reeds is newly emerged (the case it emerged from if just beneath it) - taken in July 2004 and the second one in May 2006. In 2004 I was using a Canon Powershot. By last year I had upgraded to a Canon EOS 350D SLR. Both are excellent. I have been taking photographs for 30 years and was sceptical about going digital, but now I can't praise the media too much. Thanks for the comparison to National Grographic. Praise indeed! I'll post some more soon.laughingeyes said:Oh wow! Those pictures are so awesome. Reminds me of the National Geographic style! If only they came with captions. The detail in those pictures is amazing, what type of camera were you using?
wow, where do you live?
England, but I travel as often as I can.
The sunset was at Felixstowe, Suffolk - East coast, England.
The castle is Leeds Castle in Kent, South East, England.
The panoramic view is in Hertfordshire, England.
The raindrops was a late spring/ early summer pic in my garden
The walk way between the trees was December, Paris at the Jardin des Tuileries, just before the Louvre.
