Still kind of messing with the flowers,
Should be getting some nice poppies this weekend.
Here are some tulips taken inside and made a little
softer looking. Still posts a little flat though.

Zraddish, for that tulip photo, have you tried adjusting the Levels to make it a bit more contrasty? It'll help with the flatness.

Hmm it is fine everywhere else. looks nice on my mac and in photoshop Just when I post it here from flickr they come up flat sometimes. Odd, but then I have free account on flickr never have upgraded.

yours looks great, i love the background. Mine is over saturated. what lighting setup are you using?

Over head tracking lighting. I need to get some lights
or rent some. For now just lamps and overhead.
It's a pain to not get shadows sometimes. I have to
move l lamps and adjust overhead lights.
The saturation makes your flower pop though.

here is a very old photo of mine, took that before i had a digital camera, so the quality isn't that good due to the scan...

All colorful an nice shots. rain droplets are hard to
capture. We could use the rain here. 92 the other day.
Summer is on the way, and will be a hot one I think.

yes, in the days of film... and yes, it is a market - but on a day when it was closed, so no one is around except for that woman and a few chicken... i kind of liked how this usually busy place seemed so empty...

I was shooting from about 15 feet away w\ my 55-200 w\ 1.6 converter, Like an idiot i forgot my 70-300 or i could have gotten much closer

I had a friend tell me that one was sweet. I have a 18 -50 and a 70 - 300. Both are ok, I hoping the 8-50 would have more micro may try a converter.
