Photography: Post your photos here

the second one is very nice, from the lighting and composition... the first one i must admit i don't like as much, maybe because of the slightly twisted angle... but the second one is very very nice...

here a place where i went climbing with some friends end of november, in scotland... we were very lucky with the weather as you can see:

Here are some I took at my sisters.
She likes color, and decorating.
Darn vase was so tall hard to get it all.

Your sister has a very interesting sense of style. I've never seen anything like it. It does make for a nice picture.

Thanks your right it is kind of off kilter. I didn't notice.
I took a bunch of them, waited till the sun was going down later in the day.

Wow some nice rock faces. That is some climbing.
The red wall is cool.

Yep she does have her own style. Her daughter has
it is as well.
Here is a night shot near my place. I am still
testing the water on night shots. I have long way to
go yet. Not getting the feel I want, need to keep trying.
On different screens it shows up flat, or to dark.

very nice, both the new shot from your sisters place, and the night shot...

yeah the climbing there was nice... might post some climbing pictures at some point too... but they aren't online yet...

well, this one isn't night, but inside a cave, so i guess a bit similar to a night photo...

Splunking. I love it. Cool a cave shot.
Are those manakins? (SP) or people in the windows?
Very modern looking.

i would say mannequins (manikin or mannikin seems to also be a possible spelling)...

Here is another nightshot test. And old oak after midnight.
Got quite a few of them Tres Creepy.
They built a strip mall around it they light it up at night.
Then shut off the lights after midnight, only the parking
lot lamps on. The thing is like over 100 years old.
It is huge, they can't cut it down or move it.
Tis a bit green, they come out red or green.
Oh I will go back.

nice... though i think i'd like it even better if you rotated it a bit, so the fence is straight... the colours i like...

here is another photo from scotland

I like this one. This one places you went climbing yes?
LOL Yes it does need to be shot straight on. It was dark.
and trying to get angles where the parking lot lamps didn't show up was tricky. I will go back it is just down the street,
and this was just a quick test.

yes. it was a place where i went climbing...

well i guess best would be to use a tripod - they often have these little water-bubble scales to make sure you shoot the picture straight...

Snicker, it is called a level I think. It was dark and
I didn't have my flashlight so it wouldn't
have helped. And sometimes I like them
off kilter.
Here is one from home playing around again.

No that looks like it could be fun, hard but fun.
Nice colored rock face. Not a bad shot.

Here is another tree shot at night.
An almost level shot.
And a flower from my back yard.
