"Love's Luge" submitted

Our poem "Love's Luge" is now submitted, a little late due to a mixup. It should be posted soon.

Are you still watching the babes?

Would you like to know what they get up to during the Olympic broadcasts?

Please have a read of our poem, Cock Slalom and comment on its' thread.

Whew! Thanks Liechtenstein. Please post a thread with your link once your poem hits the list.

Oh where, oh where........

are the other countries? We know Liechtenstein
submitted their poem yesterday, but where are Palau and Netherlands?
Do we have to send out a search party?
:)

Don't worry Brazil, Tibet, & Jamaica! We
know you're here already and made it safely!

Hello Liechtenstein!

Good to see you up! We did see Netherlands poem
up on site but no thread for them yet.....I guess we're going to have to
band together and start a search party for Palau!
:)

Palau: Regretfully had to withdraw

Community--

Our team, Palau had to withdraw. They regret it, but it could not be avoided.

Good luck to the 6 teams in the running. Judges votes are coming in, and I will post the finalist for the second round soon.

Peace,

daughter

question re feedback/comments

Daughter,

could you clarify our position on providing feedback? I'd like to comment on the different poems, but not sure if I'm allowed yet.

Quack,

Drake

Comments from participants

Drake--

If you comment to poems it may suggest which poem isn't yours.

Consider doing what I did. I sent feedback to each team via the feedback option on the site at-large. I suggest you write anonymously.

I will not be commenting in the forum until the judging is over. Hopefully, I will have all votes for the first round by tomorrow evening.

To the community at large, please share your comments here or use the Feedback feature. We all know which members participated. We know why they aren't commenting.

Peace,

daughter

I've just read through this entire thread. One thing worth mentioning...

Daughter, you rock.

Clearly this sorta thing takes alot of work, and clearly alot of work went into it. As a fan of poetry, thanks.

ps. and thanks to the participants :)

The mouse that roared!

Tiny landlocked Liechtenstein has got something to crow about tonight. Our poetry team has done us proud. Their eloquent poem "Love's Luge" has soared to the top of the poetry toplist. Of course, the votes of the five unknown judges will decide the outcome, but this is a good sign.

Thanks to daughter for all her hard work and patience with putting up with a bunch of poets. Thanks to the other participants, and to everyone who read and voted on our poem. Special mention also goes to Brazil and Tibet, whose poems also made the toplist.

Now if we just had a military, we could conquer the world!

Congratulations, teams

Liech, I'm excited for you about your placing. I hope all our participants get the attention they deserve.

Homer, just a labor of love(I like this cliche) LOL

Waiting on final votes and shortly I'll announce those advancing to the medal round.

Peace,

zawadi
