pony training stories

Ogg

Ogg please accept my apologies I have obviously offended someone you are close to . Please accept my profoundest apologies no offense was meant.

I am more than happy to take a joke with people but expect them to be able to give as good as they get....something I feel math girl and perdita are more than capable of doing on their own!

Lets not forget this is for fun!

Either way Im IMPRESSED by the PHD (In the UK if you study long enough I/E drink enough beer and get laid enough, they give you a degree regardless of your I.Q) im sure its different in America, allthough thinking about it maybe it isnt.

Hey there CS--welcome to the AH board and way to go! In a few brief posts you have managed to insult some of the friendliest, most talented writers on this site. And I'm sure your fellow Brits who actually cracked a few books at uni appreciate your summary of their academic efforts, lol. :D

P.S. Excellent and kindly gentle advice was provided by Ms. keemey. Too bad you didn't realize it...

Angeline--

one of my favorite names. I haven't 'seen' you before. Holds out hand. . .

Just wanted to say I love the concise bio. in your profile.

Best regards, Perdita

and since we've just met:

It's Pear to Earl
Purd or Perdy to MG and SvenskaFlicka
Darling to Pop_54
Mom to two young men

and godonlyknowswhat to others.

Thanks Perdita! (Friendly handshake.) Nice to meet you. I'm usually busy poeting, but I crank out some prose on occasion. (I was going to say "sally forth with prose," but it somehow seemed wrong in this thread. :D). MG and la keeney are my madlib buddies.

P.S. And I see we share many literary passions--I'm especially mad for Neruda. Are you familiar with Fernando Pessoa, the Portuguese poet? I'm reading him lately and loving it.

No, I'll look him up. There are plenty of poets I don't list in the profile. I've only got 3 stories up but just submitted a few poems; I'll check you out soon. ta, Perdita

CS-

Let it go.

If anyone should be offended it's me. After I went to all the trouble of finding a link for you, you didn't call me a star.

It's always the cute, young ones getting the attention. :D

Welcome to the AH, dear.

:rose: b

as opposed to the cute experienced ones, my dear?

cute?

SH and Q-

What was I thinking? I haven't been cute for atleast 30 years.

 b

I haven't been cute for at least 30 years.

I still think you are still cute and you are being too modest.

If your declared birthdate is correct I had taken my postgraduate exams and been working for years before you were born.

Ladies are allowed to be cute after their 5th birthday. Gentleman aren't.

I don't know about this 'pony training' thing? :)

I have been absent for nearly four months, and it IS time to get back into harness. . . but, THIS IS RIDICULOUS! :(

WILD HORSES couldn't drag me to an event like that!

Hmmm. Perhaps I inadvertently used the wrong metaphor.

You Think

why do I think wild horses would be more fun than a pony girl?

Sir H. and Quasi:

You forgot to mention the 'fine filly' metaphors.

Prancing (sometimes galloping or jumping) Perdita :rose: :rose:

*blushing*

You are too sweet, dear, but really, *cute* has never been me.

And 35 is a delightful age.

*contemplating AV change*

:rose: b

And for those not familiar with the art of the kill 'em with compliments South, "Isn't she the cutest thing!" is the kiss of death. The only thing worse is "Well, bless her heart!"

(nodding towards the topic)

what about " she's cute enuff to put a saddle on"

or " she'd be cute with a bit between her teeth"

Cracking read what huh!

the story will publish in paper and the author (lucky bastard) is getting paid. He has stories on here under buckfuzby.
