Oh dear. At least my kitchen smelled like coffee, and a little ceiling paint took care of the stains... I'd imagine split pea soup, combined with the force of an exploding pressure cooker would be far, far worse.

It's September in New England, and that means the hot apple cider season has officially started! *cheers* One of my favorite things to make for holidays is hot mulled cider... 1 gallon fresh, unpasteurized apple cider + 1 packet mulling spices + crockpot = yum.

Just the thought of boiling hot liquid going down my throat as a REFRESHMENT......nope..just cant do it (besides, they both taste like sh*t to me) LOL !!

Kinda the same view my wife has about hot liquid going down her throat......but I guess this is the wrong thread for that ehh??
