Someone once told me that they had been using the theme song from The Exorcist for a ringtone - until the phone went off one day during a church service. :D

OOPSS!!!!!

While unpacking (yes, after a year and a half at this house) I came across some love letters I saved from high school. They are all bundled up with a ribbon from a gift that he gave me. Should I just ditch them and save myself from having to move them again at a later date or keep them for sentimental reasons?

Do you have any old love letters/momentos from past flames?

I'm a packrat and clutter queen, so unless there were really bad memories associated with something, I'd probably keep it.

I didn't really date much in high school, but I'm pretty sure that I have some mementos from prom dates and dances.

Most of my mementos are things from my first marriage, things that I wouldn't keep if I weren't going to give them to our girls someday.

I have all the letters that my ex wrote to me when we were attending colleges that were 250 miles apart. I'm not sure where they are, though--probably at my grandmother's house.

for her wedding present to me, the mrs gave me an album filled with mementoes from our trips, shared experiences and a few other things that were at the time of great interest, including a ten page letter i sent her in which i waxed rapturous about exactly what i was gonna do when i finally saw her again.

when we have kids, that album's getting locked up in a bank safe deposit box or something.

i didn't date much but there really isn't much i keep from that time of my life--the bad years, as i call 'em. :>

where, exactly, is a woman's viola? :D
It's smaller than a man's viola but has a more resonant voice and is far more sensitive to cold.

When men speak of "playing her like a violin," they really should be speaking of playing her like a viola because the viola, while larger around the middle than a violin, is by far the more feminine of the two instruments.

I don't have a LOT of these types of things, I just came across a tin with them packed in there. Probably 50 or so notes/letters all from the same person in a two year period. I probably should just toss them.

LMAO! not only funny, but brilliantly written in the traditional MWY-style.

Oh, you should keep them! I still have all mine... not for sentimental reasons because I could not care less, but some of them are just hilarious to read back every now and then. It's a little piece of history of YOU; it's also someone elses view on you. All good reasons to keep them I think.

If you're asking the question....toss them. Clearly you aren't sentimental over them.

I have a few. In university I received a marriage proposal in a letter, while we were apart for the summer. I kept that one...though we never married.

I also kept the letters from the one that will always tug at my heart...lost at sea he was...unfinished business there.

Rarely look at them, but some how that's not the point.
