Ridiculous fashion trends... All revealed

Anybody else see the short shorts on girls with boots, particularly the furry ones ? I saw a herd of them in the mall. They were about be set upon by a group of young lads with their pants beneath their asses. Were they to breed, I can't even consider the results.

I always want to pants the "under the ass" boys and push them down and then watch them roll around on the ground. Not like they could chase you, they would be effectively knee cuffed. My kids say I'm just mean-spirited.

You could always just distract them with something that occupies both hands. So you don't have to touch them, and to avoid a lawsuit.
On a side note: is it possible that these pants actually prevent crime, by making it harder for those wearing clown pants to actually commit a crime/escape succesfully?

This is the funniest thing I've heard in 3 days. LOL! What a visual. Thank you!!!

Prevent crime, no. Make it possible to catch stupid criminals yes!:D

Doesn't stop me from wanting to run over their lame asses every time I see one strutting down the street holding his crotch. What amazes me the most is how much effort and work they put into looking like the total jackasses that they are, and then they can't understand why they're stereotyped and profiled ...

Toques in warm weather.

Toques in warm weather serve the excellent purpose of identifying annoying debags.

I really hate those shoes that all the females seem to be wearing these days. Not sure what to call them...flats, sort of like ballet slippers, with most of the upper part of the foot exposed, usually down to the toe cracks. For some reason pudgsters always seem to wear these, paired with skintight jeans. The kind of trendy shit that only looks good on models.

Redundantly enough, they're called ballet flats. :D

Almost no one looks good in flats, honestly. Even skinny girls. I think the only shoes that look okay without a heel are sneakers and flip flops.

Wow, this thread was good reading!:D

I detest flat- brimmed, turned sideways, off-camber ballcaps.

Of course; the falling-off-your-ass pants.

Fat people wearing not-so-fat people sized spandex.

* I don't mind dark eye makeup......I find " smoky eyes" and maybe a bit more very sexy*

Those flat, yet strappy "gladiator sandals" that women are wearing......YUCK!!!!!

Tight ( like two sizes two small ) babydoll tees on women at least 10 years too old to wear them....

That's enough for now.....

Ankle boots and mid calf boots. I have no idea why but they just creep me out. Oh and all the knee high boots here are totally flat with NO heels. I want a pair of boots with heels but just cannot find them.

Try Overstock.com, and any of your favourite shoe store's website. They almost always have a better selection, fantastic sales (often hidden), the return policy is ridiculously simply, and the shipping is usually free. And believe it or not, Victoriassecret.com. I ordered a pair of knee high stilettos from them that are just a killer and is an absolute hit. They've become one of my favourites :D.

I'm with you here. I've never understood the appeal, especially when I see people wearing them with skirts.

The women at the college near me wear running sneakers, running shorts, and ratty workout t-shirts while sporting incredibly heavy makeup and hair that looks like it took hours to do. It's like a weird full-body mullet; workout on the bottom, party on the top. I just don't get it.

Also: mom jeans. I have nightmares about waking up one day and finding I own a pair.

Why do women seem to continually neglect the fact that when walking in high heels, the 'sexiness' factor is completely diminished if you CAN'T WALK IN THEM!?

Actually I can tell you very easily why that happens.

The girl gets up, puts on her clothes, makeup, does her hair, then goes about her daily chores. After work/school, it's time to go to the gym. Does she take the extra time to wash her face and hair before going, knowing that she'll be right back in the shower directly after her workout? Too much work. She just goes with the makeup still on.

Most of the time, it's not to impress anyone. Just saving time. I've done it more than once. As a woman who wears makeup on a daily basis, it's just part of our routine.

I have a colleague who sounds like a freakin' horse when she walks down the hall.

Yup. At the gyms I've gone to, it's pretty obvious which women are there to impress others and which women are there to work out. The women who want to be seen will have perfect hair, perfect makeup, and perfect clothes.

It's college, though, and the only place I see this is on campus. Most of them live in dorms, no more than five or ten minutes from the gym. This isn't the case of a hectic, over-scheduled existence; it's a conscious fashion choice.

But even if what you say is true, it's still a conscious choice not to dress in normal clothing for class and then bring another bag with a change of clothing. After all, if you're right and she's going right to the gym, she'd have to go to the locker room and put her backpack in a locker when she works out; why not bring a bag with a change of clothing? I wear makeup, and that's what I do when I go to the gym at the end of the day.

I have to disagree here.

High heels are kind of the modern version of footbinding.

She' supposed to look half-crippled and as if she'd be easy to run down...and like she's probably incapable of real work and therefore a sign of the wealth of her owner (see Thorstein Veblen).

Of course, not everyone finds this sexy, but enough do on some level to ensure the continuing popularity of heels.

Yesterday I was sitting on the sidewalk with the other men from work eating lunch and we were watching a chunky, volumptuous latina in a tight dress and shoes with 6 inch heels, the kind where the sole of the shoe is in a steep wedge (sorry, don't know ladies' fashion terms). She was hurrying to get into a building across the street, I think for a commencement ceremony that was beginning. She could barely ambulate in those things! It was rediculous, but we were all watching with mouths hanging open. That crippled stumble was hitting us all in some primal zone back in the lizard brain.

I detest flat- brimmed, turned sideways, off-camber ballcaps.

The oversized fitted sports franchise cap with the price sticker still carefully affixed to the brim, worn askew, is an annoying style, but it's not new. I was watching this movie made in the 70s and was surprised to see that ghetto youth were doing the exact same thing back then, minus a few minor details.

Girls who wear those things are inviting men on the sidewalk to say Yo what's up Puss in Boots!

.

Another hipster trend that looks universally bad. Why is it always the chicks with those non tapering legs that have the same circumference from ankle to knee that wear those things??

I do dig some things that are kinda in bad taste. What's not to like about a sexy young college fuckbubble with a ponytail, pink "PINK" sweatpants and uggs?

Now flipflops I like, with a nice nail job...

I can't say why women dress in "non gym" clothes at the gym. I always did. I just didn't bother with washing my face before going.

Oh, you gotta do your toes if you're gonna wear flip flops. I have three or four pair of sandals and in the summer I live in them. Conversely, I do my toes twice a week to make sure there aren't any chips or anything.

The Hubs really has a thing for pretty feet, and I gotta keep him happy. He pays my bills. :p

On the other hand, what's up with women with skanky feet, corns, calluses, bunions, yellowish dried toe skin, etc etc wearing foot-exposing footwear? Is it so hard to get a pedi?
