Ridiculous fashion trends... All revealed

On the other hand, what's up with women with skanky feet, corns, calluses, bunions, yellowish dried toe skin, etc etc wearing foot-exposing footwear? Is it so hard to get a pedi?

I DO NOT KNOW! OMG pet peeve.

It is NOT hard to get a pedi. It's not even hard to do a pedi yourself.

Oh sweet baby jesus have I seen some shit. Like, toenails that looked like someone switched their feet with a 90 year old diabetes patient. Tree climbers!

Maybe if you work on a family farm in the Oklahoma dust bowl and only own one pair of shoes that you wear to church on sunday, but i'm talking women who live in Manhattan. THey actually go about with these leper feet!

You living in the 30's there hon? Oklahoma has paved roads. And electricity. And the internet. I'm living proof. :D

Those stupid t shirts with slogans written accross the front like "I fucked your boyfriend".

My question is why?

Heels and socks!! I don't care how cute the socks are, you look like a 5 year old flower girl.

Uggz are just fugly, even more so when it is not raining or snowing.

Makeup - less is always more. Eye liner and mascara can be to much for me but ill survive.

My pet hate is really bad fake tans. You know the sort of thing Im talking about, the dark orange all over tango'ed look or the ever popular I missed a few places but it will do.

I saw a girl wearing an honest to goodness bikini top to the mall yesterday. What the hell? Stuff like that is for the beach, not a collection of shops and food places.

I don't have a new hate, they got mentioned already, I am going to go back to a few.

The hat with the price tag on it, that is honestly a funny story. It started out by of course, the poor black kids in the inner city. They can't afford things like hats, and new clothes. So to avoid being made fun of and getting in fights, they would go and steal hats. The price tag is removed because you know obviously, leaving the tag on says hey I just stole this hat. The cops knew this and would collect the poor kids with hats, even if they actually say, made the money honestly. Since when this was happening black kids all looked alike anyway, they would lose the hat and generally get a fine or jail time. So the ones that can buy hats, started leaving the price tag on the hat, and stuffing the receipt in it as well so they can show it to the cop. It stopped mattering but they kept doing it because it was the in thing. This was in the sixties that it started, continued into the 70's where it became a fashion trend.

Now those below the ass pants, goes back to the poor black kids in the inner city. I mentioned before they can't afford new pants, they all get hand me down clothes. Now if you happen to have experienced hand me downs, you would know that they are sized for the oldest. If you happen to be thinner, well belts are needed. So at first the belt was a rope, sometimes an actual belt, usually a bit of rope or twine. Once in a while it's electric wire from a busted TV or lamp. Whatever works really, though I seem to recall the tie for drapes was popular briefly. Now it went a little downhill from there, the belt or whatever they have for it, went away. This started because if you use wire you can loop it in your hand and really hurt somebody. Schools said no belt, made complete sense, but it also meant they are holding the pants up or letting them droop. So then boxers started being worn and clothes pins make an appearance to keep them off the floor. No pants in jail as well, but not where it started, it started in school by poor kids who can't afford to buy pants.

Don't you feel smarter now? :cattail:

yes... gross. cover those things up.
The baggy pants on guys, big bottomed women who wear short dresses/skirts and don't realize that their booty is causing the dress/skirt to reveal some things people ought not to be seeing in public or at work. Can't they feel the draft?
(I'm a heavier set girl and would never dress that way)

Also, I just don't understand the appeal of jeans and high heels together... It looks sort of silly to me.

I work in finance and what kills me are these kids (male) fresh out of college in their first suits sporting a Justin Bieber-influenced "helmet-head". I have no problem w/ long hair (had some myself once), but damn, this looks like a bunch of wanna-be Ken Dolls.

i respectfully and totally disagree. heels and jeans, if done right is insanely hot. flashy, bright heels are no good. but some black, dark red, open toed pumps and just enough of the shoe showing that you have to double take to see they are heels... ***drool*** and must have darker jeans.

skinny jeans and heels, NO!

heeled boots over pants. (my thoughts) get off the street and go ride your horse or go stompin through the pig pen b/c you look like the daughter of farmer brown.

Anything influenced by Justin Beiber should be killed with fire!

For me it's guys in tank tops. I think it's my mother's fault, she would NEVER allow the boys in the family at the dinner table with a sleeveless shirt.
I think I've seen only 2 guys look good in them.

Ladies over 40 should not have a big bow in their hair. There I said it and I'm glad--I would even venture so far as to say over 30. There was some broad in a restaurant the other day who was at least my age, (43) with a big black bow on the side of her head. All I could think was. . hmmm, mutton dressed as lamb.

Haha I wear skinny jeans and heels all the time!

It's more my hatred for skinny jeans than anything. I just don't get the point. They don't flatter any part of the body on 98% of the ppl that wear them. Samething goes for capris.

It's just my opinion, so no offense meant.

Platform shoes are getting more and more rediculous all the time!!! Do men find that attractive? I have to wonder...

I don't care if they do or not. Platforms and wedges are so tacky that I love them.

Ugg boots, tights and short skirts and Pyjamas worn out in public like to the supermarket.

You know, that's a great attitude. If you like the way you look, that's all that matters!! Cheers to you!

LOL, I don't get to wear them often, but it's always fun when I do. :D
