Sadism?

Thoughtful sadists also remain silent when it builds anticipation...

PATION!

LOL, the passion of my daughters life...one of the role models of her youth who has endured to remain cherished and idolised. :catroar:

Catalina :rose:

I remember going to the midnight showings when I lived in LA back in the 70s. Throwing rice, taking plastic, so we would not get wet, Ahh the never to come again fuckin' days.....

Eb [damn I'm old...]

You know... the funny thing of it is...

If one goes by the number of times a movie has actually been sat through and watched, or number of times you've paid to go see it at a theater, Rocky Horror Picture Show is now, and probably will be forever, my favorite movie.

I used to be in the floor shows here and in college, I quit counting after 50 times, and I still go and do it at Dragon*Con when I can...

Me and my friends would drive 45 minutes on Saturday nights to a small theater with our bag of toliet paper, toast, waterguns etc. One of my best memories of college. I was always Magenta.

We had the DVD until my grandson broke it! I have seen it so many times over the years. I just love drag movies!

It was a big thing for me in college, too. We used to drive down toward Baltimore to see it on Fridays and Saturdays; I still have the program from my very first show. We hosted it a few times actually on campus, too, and I was also Magenta. The funny thing was, my roommate looked JUST like Magenta, but she could tap-dance, so she was the only one who could be Columbia, and I had to be Magenta!

EG, they have it at D*Con? Yet ANOTHER reason for me to be entirely bitter about them being too cheap to provide GOOD interpreting services. (I've even interpreted a full performance of RHPS, with pre-show and audience callbacks and the whole thing...)

(Now that I've thoroughly derailed the thread...)
