Should Bowman Be Sanctioned? Expelled? Prosecuted?

Democrats could be stranded in a pit full of shit and they would still eat their way out. And they call us deplorable.
Well, I myself, as a republican who cares for the fair application of consequence for ones actions - it's my belief that this was unwise and rushed. I mean, we knew George Santos was crooked BEFORE he took his seat and we waited an almost full year before doing something. Don't get me wrong - pulling a fire alarm is as equal to lying about 911, appropriating heritages, using tax payer funds, and jerking to OnlyFans, but I think we should give Bowman a year as well.

Unlike Santos, Bowman pled GUILTY to a charge of falsely pulling a fire alarm and had to pay a $1,000 fine. Yet he won't be kicked out of Congress like Santos was because of who he is.

Oh! So you DON'T have me on ignore and can see the many disparaging things I say about you and your lies? You just choose to pick and choose replying. Gotcha.

And here, you're saying that there was a process and Bowman was held accountable, but you feel there should be more. And also, what does "who he is" mean exactly?

Never mind being expelled, this vote was for censure a much lesser form of discipline and still 191 nay votes from democrats: sad!

The vote for censure was initiated by who?

Oh..right....Republicans....the same party that initiated the Santos expulsion vote.

But of course, the Democrats are the issue šŸ‘

He shut down a part of the government. He could spin that as just practicing. Later they will do much more than practice, when the dollar becomes worthless. So he can practice for that by losing his congressional salary.
Good thing the RIGHT has never done anything illegal to shut down the government (Jan 6) especially anyrhing that could potentially be dangerous (Jan 6). Thank god we have the RIGHT to be our role models in responsible behavior (Jan 6).

As of 07 Dec 2023, there have been 21 federal government shutdowns in the last five decades.4 The current shutdown is a partial one, as many agencies were already funded through this fiscal year, which ends in September.3 There have been four "true" shutdowns where operations were affected for more than one business day. In 1995-1996, President Bill Clinton and the Republican Congress were unable to agree on spending levels, causing the government to shut down twice, for a total of 26 days.02 In 2013, a standoff over funding for the Affordable Care Act resulted in a 16-day shutdown.2 President Ronald Reagan triggered the first government shutdown when he vetoed a funding bill because he thought it should have cut more from domestic spending.1

Nothing real ever happens. No essential employees of the government were ever sent home during any of the 21 government shutdowns in the last 50 years. We're still here.

I mean, this is what the Republican Party does best. And it has trained RG and Ican better than Pavlov's dogs.
It does not matter what Bowman did. Republicans will find outrage in anything from the wearing of a tan suit to Hillary's and Hunter's internet access. This censure measure is, like always, cover for their lacking in solutions to helping the American people and ability to govern. Daily, ican and RG come here and show that they're incapable of seeing themselves being played.

I was talking about JANUARY 6. That was a diff'rent kinda shutdown. Trump supporters marching on the capital building? Angry white people bear-spraying the police? Pence running for his life? Dudes with zip ties and confederate flags breaking into people's offices?

But yeah by all means let's string up the guy that pulled a fire alarm.

And yeah, I love how you excuse Republican Budget Brinksmanship govt shutdowns as a minor little nuisance but you after the BLOOD of the guy who pulled a FIRE ALARM

The fact that 191 Dems voted no says a lot about Dems. It should have been unanimous for censure but Dems are morally corrupt.

It says they have no political gain in voting for censure....which is a political vote. 3 voted for censure.....they had something to gain.

YOU say it should have been unanimous for censure. I say it should have been unanimous NO's on censure.

But the Republicans are morally corrupt.

Party loyalty over integrity is the democrat way.
