It was busy in Publix. It's entirely different now, which I'm aware of. To witness it though makes you realize that all of this is real, I felt anxious as I was shopping. Something I rarely experience anymore, I couldn't wait until I was out of there due to my anxiety. I just grabbed what I needed and got out of there. It took me a few moments to recollect my thoughts.

It was a random log that followed me home from the forest.

The turned part is sanded and waxed, but they are more for fun than for insertion.
They are quite porous and should they be inserted in any orifice, a condom is IMHO a must.


Maybe I should start leaving them as easter eggs in the neighborhood?

Today I found myself trying and failing to turn the pages of a document I was proofing since my hands are becoming so dry from hand washing and sanitizers. I raised my finger to my tongue to moisten it...and promptly licked the inside of my fucking mask.

The virus is crawling here. The hospitals aren't crowded, everything's pretty calm. I'm glad no one I know is in a nursery home. We've flattened the curve into submission, and that might cause problems in the future.

Our lockdown was lifted. That's nice. Although it didn't really affect me personally at all. None if this has. It's odd. I miss going to the weekly pub quiz though.
