Here I was, all set to finally surrender to sweet slumber, but no. Instead, I find myself popping Mr. Meaty in the CD player....and now I'm "damning through the night, damning through the night....damning through the night with you....."

Its gonna be a very long night.

ok i've been reading both of your posts..of course..cause i'm a hugh meatloaf fan.....

but..somehow i have to get you two together for this concert ....even though i'd love for Intrigued to go with me instead ....i dont' know if you two are talking on here besides post of not...but if you two are having problems getting together tell me what i can do to help........and if you two do get together...tell me how it went ok.....

and another thing....about meatloaf...of course like most meatloaf fans...Bat Out of Hell...is the best album ever made but i have to admit..another song of his i just love is "I'd lie for you and that's the Truth....i could listen to that one 24/7....

i've enjoyed reading everything that has been written back and forth on here about your experiences about seeing the "meat"...and Intrigued's..welll can't say enought good things about her....she really seems like a sweetie...

do i need to start a post to collect money for Intrigued to be able to fly to see meatloaf with you..or what...lol..

I too love that record "I'd Do Anything For Love"..but I guess my favorite is "For Crying Out Loud"..it has a mix of his power and his soft side. There are so many I love of his...

Another correct point is that Intrigued (Connie) is indeed a sweetie IF we do get together....I don't think we could publish what went on lol...well..maybe

I am so touched....wow. Speechless even.

OKOK...I have recovered.... Dear, you are so kind to me...and please, seeing Meaty would be a dream...but thats all it is. I can't possibly make it to Cali to see both my wonderful Ukin and Mr. Meaty. In the first place, I'd never survive it....it would devastate and completely finish me off to see them both...oh dear.....! and second...it just can't happen in the little time remaining before the BIG day.
It is so kind of you to want me to see him this much...its even nicer for me than actually seeing him. Thank you do much dear.

Honey, you are quite correct, if we get together in person...there will be no ability to express it in words.

I do believe my favorite Meaty song is "Heaven Can Wait"...mostly because it reminds me of my rape...and that taste of Heaven.......paradise, that comes in healing.

Ladybird..I am sure in agreeance with you. I have seen him live 6 times now and due to see him again on July 6 - I have a spare tickert if you fancy flying from Oz!- and I remember all six concerts vividly.
How I wish he and Jim would get back for another album though and how I wish Meat and Bonnie Tyler would have a concert together, signing nothing but Steinman songs..now THAT would be an awesome concert, but I don't think it will ever happen, sadly. There wouldn't be "A Dry Eye In THe House"
